This texture pack came into development shortly after the release of my KDS PhotoRealism texture pack. It started out as a Work In Progress based on my website for people to try out early beta's. The feedback was positive and so I continued to work on it.
The aim of this texture pack is to look beautiful, highly detailed and on par with how Minecraft looks.
It's one of the best packs I have ever developed. Please enjoy it and provide as much feedback as possible!

Everything is custom and I will be continuing to update this so long as Minecraft updates keep coming.
I will also be making textures for mods I use so stay tuned for them.

(Ps. Not too used to PlanetMinecraft yet so... Don't tease the new guy.)

Additional Notes


Do not assume this has any of Scuttles' LB Photo Realism texture pack.
Go on this page and press ctrl+f then type KDStudios. Then be enlightened.
He used my pack and is still using a lot of my textures today.

Why would I do that? The mod is for 1.3.2 and so is the pack. It would be a waste of time to update it to 1.4.2.
I am working on an update for it though, or just have it as a whole new pack. Unsure about that though.
It is Wasteland/Fallout/Apocalypse themed, it will have two generations, a lush world that has ended and been taken over by nature and the other will be a classic Fallout/Dead world look. I am currently testing out whether I can have both and so far results have been hopeful.

Well, I understand what you're saying. I was using your KDS Wasteland pack in my Post-Apocalyptic Machinima (With non-profit use and I also credited you as well). If it can't be updated, then that's fine as well. I just haven't seen many professional looking Apocalyptic texture packs, and yours was very, very good.

I would love to see a continuation of the pack, or something new in itself. You have some great talent for the ambiance of the world. Thanks for the reply back. I appreciate it.

I had no idea you made a video with the pack, I've just watched it and it was simply fantastic. Very, very impressed with it. I'm especially happy to see that you took the initiative to adjust the pack with Misa's to compliment the way the video looked. The new pack is almost complete. I can send it to you in a PM as I don't know when I will release it or what I'm going to do with it. You can take what you want from it and use it in your latest videos if you want? Just tell me a resolution and I'll see to it that I make it. You should like many parts of it, including mob textures, terrain textures and other stuff. So take what you want from it. (I'd highly recommend the glass texture)

Wow thanks! It's pretty cool to see all of the support this series is getting, but it's especially cool to see someone who made a texture pack I used compliment it. That seriously means a lot to me, and I honestly can't say thank you enough.

I would love to see the new texture pack. I've actually been having trouble finding more texture packs like yours. I mostly like to record with 64x resolution texture packs as they show off more detail most of the time.

But as I said before, I would absolutely love to see the texture pack. :)

It's no problem, it was a great series pilot. I've even subscribed so I know when/if you make some more. I'll also throw it on the minecraftforum topic so that people can watch it when they check it out. (Unsure when I'll do this as it's pretty much under the radar until/if the mod is updated)
So yeah, I'll start working on a 64x version of the pack as I've developed it at 256x to get the most detail out of it. Shouldn't take me longer than an hour. If you need help with recording I can also try assisting you in any way I can.

well, you can make a another sort of texture pack, like a 8x, a 16x, 32x... you know. but you don't have too.

Well I was going to work on an enhanced default texture pack, probably 32x, 16x and 8x.
Basically it revamps the default textures to incorporate animated textures, custom colours and even randomobs.

However, by the rules of this website I wouldn't be allowed to post it as it would be too much like default. Stupid rule obviously but hey... Not my problem.
