This resource pack contains a custom font consisting of pixel spacers!
The Minecraft JSON text format is everywhere. You can use it in /tellraw, books, signs, on-screen titles, entity names, container names, team prefix/suffix and more. The problem is that each character has a different width and therefore, multi-line text tends to misalign quite often.
Simply enforce the resource pack in a server or world save and use the following format to align your text pixel by pixel:
{"text":"1","font":"space"}
The text indicates the space in pixels, between 1 and 4. Note that a normal space is 4 pixels wide.Examples
Single space:
tellraw @p {"text":"1 space\ni","extra":[{"text":" "},{"text":"|\nl"},{"text":" "},{"text":"|\nI"},{"text":" "},{"text":"|\nf"},{"text":" "},{"text":"|\nA"},{"text":" "},{"text":"|"}]}
Attempted aligning using extra spaces:
tellraw @p {"text":"Aligning Attempt\ni","extra":[{"text":" "},{"text":"|\nl"},{"text":" "},{"text":"|\nI"},{"text":" "},{"text":"|\nf"},{"text":" "},{"text":"|\nA"},{"text":" "},{"text":"|"}]}
Perfect alignment using resource pack:
tellraw @p {"text":"Perfect Alignment\ni","extra":[{"text":" "},{"text":"|\nl"},{"text":" 3","font":"space"},{"text":"|\nI"},{"text":" 2","font":"space"},{"text":"|\nf"},{"text":" 1","font":"space"},{"text":"|\nA"},{"text":" "},{"text":"|"}]}
Now for a small bit of text like this it seems like a lot of extra work, but normally the chance is quite high that you already have the "extra" array and it's just a matter of adding the {"text":" 1","font":"space"} (or whatever spacing) in between.
