This pack changes bookshelves to 3D, but non-Euclidean way.
I even don't think that Optfine can do this, so Optifine not required.
Doesn't work with Sodium/Iris.
Works on 1.18.2 but not under this version. May be downgrated to 1.17.
Isn't compatible with packs that changes bookshelfs, but you may make custom non-Euclidean bookshelfs(and not only bookshelfs!).
Nice performance. Chunk filled with bookshelfs doesn't affects FPS on my pc.
Wanted bugs.
∟Problems with shading(AO) are minecraft's problems. I've tried to catch it but it's still not perfect.
∟Small seams are problem of model. I'll try to fix it if it's possible.

Hi... I'm curious because my shader knowledge is limited to the point where I don't know how most stuff works. Currently this pack is not an animated crystal. However, I know it's possible to make crystal item animated (I think I've seen it multiple places, but it's definitely present at fedpol1's github https://github.com/fedpol1/mc-resource-packs/tree/master/1.18.2/3dcrystal/assets/minecraft). Would that method work for parts of blocks too? (And maybe how does that pack work?)
Code of fedpol1 (I name it spaghetti code), as I understand it, generates model from planes from one point.
