This sound pack pitches up block sounds like cloth, grass, sand, stone, wood, etc. In-game, breaking and placing blocks is 0.8x (-4 semitones) speed. If you change the speed in the sound files to 1.25x (+4 semitones), in game, it will sound like the real deal.

I made this resource pack experimental, to see how it will sound. (I believe these are the sounds of Minecraft Beta.)
