This pack makes some ores glow and animated to shimmer. it also has brighter nether quartz ore which has some variants and adjusts netherrack to have a higher contrast (applies to all netherrack based blocks eg. nyliums, nether gold ore etc.)

quartz is the only one that i find overly repetitive in the natural generation as it occurs in large patches and the original texture has an obvious orientation

this pack doesn't effect ancient debris as the material doesn't look like it should be shiny to me.
