How to install Minecraft Resource Packs

I just recently got into creating texture packs, so I thought this would be a nice way to start creating something for the community.

I apologize for any issues, this is my first time creating a resource pack.

(make sure to put it towards the bottom of your loading order)

can you please make it that this texture pack only changes the painting and not the whole blocks in the game?
because otherwise my other texture packs wont work. Would appreciate it!

Sorry this took so long. Sadly, I am so bad at resource packs that I cannot fix that. However, if you put it towards the bottom of the loader (i.e, just on top of the Default), that could fix the problem. If you are particularly savvy, feel free to extract the png from the resource pack and switch it within the default pack. Sorry I can't help more, but this was my first time creating a pack, and I must have messed something up within the file.
