DerpCraft is a cartoony and mistic texture pack, very little has been done so far and sorry if the grass looks to green or is only one color i have just really started and have not added biome shading but please enjoy what I do have so far I will be updating it as i work and feel free to leave me some feedback and if you like it then show me some love.

Hey Minecrafters I'm back and i brought a friend THE 1.3 VERSION OF DerpCraft!!! P.S. what do you guys think of moving painting like painting that have moving images on them in minecraft, i might include that in a future update so what do you think? throw me some feedback :D

RAINBOW~ now that i got that out of my system, HELLO and this week i have done little but sorry been a bit tied up but what i have done is the exp bar, lapiz block, edited the woodplanks a bit, made lapiz ore more blue than purple and a few more random editations so enjoy. :D

Hello friends that have kindly taken the time to read the updates thank you :D but to the part you care about :P this is a REALLY small update but i added rainbow slimes (slimes of all colors and an emo slime) and i also added zombies but theres a problem they're embaressed because they are naked, I need zombie clothing ideas, so what should the zombies wear? and more for you guys, I suck at taking screenshots but soome of you may not if you have the time or would like to send me a in game screenshot of the texture pack in use the post a comment telling me you would like to submit some and I will PM you my email, all ideas and screenshots you will be credited for so if your willing please help me to make this texture pack more enjoyable.

hello!!!  I have now added all forms of sandstone, aswell as lies ... i mean cake, wheat grass, wools, snow blocks, snowy grass sides and obsidian. Enjoy!!! :D

Yay, I'm glad to see that there is a LOT of downloads so far thank you :D anyway 4 hours in and i now bring you 6 more textures. cobblestone, mossy cobblestone, sand, pumkin, jack o lantern, and i made the mob eggs summoning staffs so enjoy :D

xD yeah I know that how it got the name, when thinking of a name i asked myself "what is a FANTASTIC~ name for a texturepack? ... well derp ... wait that will work derpcraft :D i should get an award" so derpcraft born from my inabilities to be creative :D

You should make more texture packs =D.The Only Thing Is The Brick Block and Gold Block Look Glitchy.I dont know if you ment to do that or not but just sayin' :3

i plan to, I have a few projects in mind after this but i need to get this WIP done (or close to) before i can start another :P as for the bricks and gold I'll see whats going on there and see about fixing it as soon as i can and as well give out the 50 diamond special that I'm working on right now so till then i guess just have a cold coke ( cheers~ ) and enjoy :D

btw How do you make it look realistic? Do you make the terrain.png bigger? what do u do?

you expand the png you want to be more detailed so basically you make the image 2x bigger for 32x, 4x bigger for 64, 8x bigger for 128x and so on and so forth but remember to use MCpatcher or it will not work in minecraft :P

the pumkins are my favorite :D after this texture pack i have thought about doing a halloween town inspired texture pack in 16x or 64x resolution and the pumkins in that will be even wickeder :D

i will make some of those ideas i love them but could not put them in this update because i need to go for a few days to take care of my grandfather so i had to push for an update or i would haft to prolong it further, so then your ideas will be in the next update when i get back :P

Looks cool, but one question: How do you make it so the different mobs have multiple skins? Meaning 1 creeper could have a bloody tear but another one may not.

Random mods is one of the aspects of MCpatcher so i just draw extra skins and the program randomizes them in Minecraft

So (I don't have the tools to do this right now and won't for about two months) I would need MCPatcher and I'm guessing I would just draw multiple Mob skins and name them:


creeper.png
creeper2.png
creeper3.png  etc, etc...


If not, any extra info would be excellent. I plan to make my own texture pack and I want to (as well as blocks and items) customize the mob skins, but at the same time, I don't want them all looking the same. xD Rainbow creepers might make an appearance in my pack lol.

yeah you are right you really just draw the skins and name them like that

and so forth, skip 1 because the base skin counts as it and you can do this for any mob aswell as (if you can understand it, i still can't) animate textures in the game like make diamond ore blocks shine or make soul sand move but I'm still new to this believe it or not this is my first texturepack if you want to learn more about mc patcher go to the forum page here they have better explanations than I do :P and hope you have good luck with your texturepack :D

I would (being a basic graphics designer) thing to make an animated texture you'd need to create a GIF file because GIF supports transparency as well, but I don't know if minecraft accepts the GIF format. Somebody on here needs to make a Texture Pack maker similar to MCSkin3D by Paril. Maybe Paril himself will make one...that'd be excellent. His MCSkin3D already allows you to make Mob skins.

MCpatcher makes animation textures kinda simple you use png. like all the other files you line up your frames from top to bottom and it will animate it in to the game for you the kinda not so easy to get part (or maybe I'm just derpy~) is how to control how the frames move you need to use some format of theirs and program the animation for timing. I also thing we need a texturepack modification program something like a mix of MCskin3D and gimp maybe, paril is/was/idk to make it a full texture pack editor but we will see if it happens. :P
