I started making this pack because, well, I saw some really neat texture packs and I wanted to try to make one. So I said, " Why not, let's give it a shot!" Of course I wasn't prepared to dive headfirst into the world of resource pack design, so I started small.

This is the first texture pack I have posted online and it seems to be doing decently well. So, yeah, thank you for the support (I probably would have lost interest in this pack if no one wanted to try it), and I hope you like it.

The ores and the default stone gives me the look of acacia wood (defautl) with the ores in it.
Maybe a thing to look at. For the rest it looks good shadent.

Anyway good luck with the pack.

thanks. Yeah I noticed the resemblence to acacia, so I darkened and dulled the texture a bit. I may edit it more to negate the resemblence..

Maybe I should rephrase it...
I pick a feature of the texture that I like or think needs to be changed and work around that, creating a pack that is still minecraft, but a variation. (Don't get me wrong: this pack is 100% hand made, pixel by pixel, I'm not stealing textures :P)

you'll also notice that  some of the pack looks similar to default, and some of the pack looks distinctly different.

i guess you could say  the pack's theme is 'minecraft'
