I've always wanted to make a datapack that lets you open shulker boxes without needing to place them down. With the help of my Discord server, I've made exactly that.

Put a shulker box in your off-hand and shift-rightclick to open your Shulker Box. You can still place Shulker Boxes normally when not sneaking or when it is not in your off-hand.

This datapack uses a modified version of XAVI333's Invisible Minecarts Library. Changes include tag changes and resource pack changes to make it so you're less likely to encounter custom block-states.
Consequently, this is not compatible with any datapack that uses the waterlogged wood doubleslabs as custom blocks with BONEE-CB

This pack was created with the help of my Discord server.

To install, apply the "BONEE - Invisible Minecarts Resource Pack" resource pack to your game. Next, open "Datapacks[​UNZIP ME]" and copy the files inside to your World Datapack folder. Open/reload your world and you have Shulker Backpacks.


The Backpacks datapack may be uninstalled at any time. The Invisible Minecarts datapack should only be uninstalled if you are certain that no Minecarts exist in your world as they will be visually glitched until destroyed and re-placed.
