Haiiii!
So today i reached 11 subs! YAAAAY! This is actually REALLY dumb that im celebrating 11 subs nut you know ive ALWAYS wanted to teach you guys how I make skins using gimp and any program used to make skins ( i use skindex ) . Sooo lets get started!
So firstly go on your skin program ( it could be on the internet or a program you download to your computer )
and just make the skin you want that is NOT shaded. Some people shade themselves but i have NO IDEA how to shade so i just do this o3o .
When your done making the skin thats not shaded save it to your computer and make sure it a png or whatever.
Then go onto PlanetMinecraft or skindex and find something called a ''shading template''. It can be any clour you want ( well not exactly ANY color ) and download it to your computer o3o.
Now its time to use Gimp!
When you have downloaded and opened Gimp you can see something called ''Window'' on the top of the screen of Gimp.Click on that and then you will see something called '' Dockable Dialogs''. Put your mouse over that then find ''layers''.
When you clicked on layers there will be a toolbox. When you know that there is the toolbox go to where windows was
and move alittle to the left where you can find ''File''. Click on it and find '' Open as Layer ''.
Find the skin you made and click OK.Then go back to Open As Layer and chose the Shading Template.When youve done that look at the toolbox. You should see that there are the skin and the template.
Click on the Template then click on that little arrow on the toolbox. Its on top of that long rectange. Click on it then Click on ''Grain Merge''. Then you will that the skin is now shaded. To see it more better zoom it in!
Save it then go to File and look for ''Export''. Name it then export it wherever you want!
And finally you have got you shaded skin! o3o
