Just a little blog before I go to bed, getting tired and so many exams!

So here is yet another of my marvellous rants! This one is about 'minecraft dating'. We have all been on a chatty server and then some girl ruins it by saying:

"any boyz want a gf xxx"

It's ridiculous! If you want a boyfriend, go to a bar or something, not a virtual game. What are you, do you have some crazy pleasure when you talk to a boy online? That you have never met? For all you know 'Jason' might be 'Child Stalker Jason'.

I'm not going to nag on about e-safety and stuff, so I will quickly justify my point. Minecraft is not a dating website, like eHarmony or match.com. It is a virtual enviroment where users can play freely without the restrictions of, you know, 'reality'. It is a place where people can socialise and maybe make some friends. Not 'have a partner'. I know this isn't the most justified of points, but that is basically it: you don't know who you are talking too, they could be anyone, not what they seem, and really, that is not the relationship you want. If you are in one of these, stop it before something bad could happen and get into a REALationship. (OK I am so proud of that pun honestly).

Also, this doesn't count if the people met in real life BEFORE playing together, that's just a mutual interest ;)
