Now I love pvp servers, but you know what can get annoying? noobs with no armor or sword running towards the PVP area over and over hoping to get a kill. If you're one of those people or someone who wants to get a little better at PVP, this is the right place! Here I will tell you everything step by step to do when joining a PVP server:)

1. Make some friends. The server will be a LOT easier with friends. Or you could join a faction. But don't just go into a game and spam "can i join a faction?". Nobody likes that. Get to know somebody and eventually ask them or wait for an invitation. You could even just make a faction and ally them.

2. Make a faction (if the server doesn't have factions skip this step). When you make a faction don't just let anybody in. Get to know someone then ask them if they want to join. I would suggest around 5 members in a faction and maybe 1 moderator in the faction. (to mod someone you type /f mod (players name)). You CAN have more people but its harder to maintain with lots of members and they will most likely lower the factions power.

3. Run far; far, far away. When you make a base you want to run. Lets say the spawn area is X- 100, Z- 100. You would want to make your base about X- 3000 and Z- 3000. I'm mainly saying run a good 3000 blocks from spawn or more. Then if you are completely sure nobody will find your base (meaning about 10,000 blocks away from spawn) you can build a big above ground base. Trust me, getting 10,000 blocks will only take about 10-15 minutes if you gather enough food as you go.

4. Mine and enchant. What you wanna do is get full diamond armor and a diamond sword. Unless nobody else on the server does. It will take a long time, unless you have hard working dedicated faction members to help you out. Once you have that you are gonna want to enchant. Get to level 15 either by mining or killing mobs and then enchant armor. Do this will all of your armor. Some enchantments might not be so good such as projectile projection. If you happen to get that then just get another piece of armor and enchant again. All of your armor should at least be protection II. Still continue and try to get III or IV enchants. Your sword will be best off with sharpness and fire. If its sharpness II or above its good to go.

5. Don't fight admins/moderators who are in a strong faction. If a mod or admin is in a strong faction he most likely spawns the stuff for himself. The owner and the admin will both say "admins cant even spawn. Its disabled for them", well they are lying. I have had this happen at least 12-14 times. Also, don't get on an admin/owners bad side but don't suck up either. If you annoy them they WILL teleport to your base and say they found it legit. This has happened to me countless times.

6. Don't revert to hacks. Once you download the hacks, everything goes downhill. They may seem awesome and you may find stacks of diamonds but you will get caught. And sooner or later banned.
