Hey guys and gals-- it's me again, but this time, I'm going to take a different blogging approach! For starters, I managed to stray from my usual writing habits and upgraded to a pretty, cyan text (y'see how beauteous it is?). Secondly, I posted a more interesting image for my thumbnail (g'head, look at it). Now with all that out of the way, on to what I actually wanted to talk to you all about!

After an evening of interacting with other PMC'ers via chat, I couldn't help but notice just how kind and mature a good majority of our community turned out to be. At first, I was a bit nervous, taking note of the color-coded chart above the chat window and discovering that some of those that appeared upon the online list were actually moderators of some sort. Being as shy as I am, I eased into the conversations cautiously; however, I quickly learned that those mods, though they should definitely be treated with respect, are in fact people just like you and I. They may be of a higher 'rank' than most of us, but they started out as new members.

Now I don't want to overlook the non-mods of Planet Minecraft-- of course-- so these lower-leveled PMC'ers need to be addressed (and addressed they shall be!). Actually, it turns out that a normal member of this site had been the sole individual that ended up inspiring me to write this blog.

I try to always be nice, understanding, and encouraging-- especially on sites such as PMC, due to the huge range of age groups that populate the various skin, project, and blog submissions-- the last thing I want to do is crush an innocent 8 year old's dream of skinning with a venomous comment of how dreadfully awful their skin was. So, as I normally do, I check out the newest skins that have been uploaded and go about, offering words of motivation and admiration of different entries; whilst doing so, I came across an exceptional skin.

I told the artist of how amazed I was that he/she had not already reached an absurd level for their skill was just unbelievable! The skinner immediately claimed about how humbled they had been at my comment and flatly told me that they were going to diamond every last one of my skins out of gratitude. I was now the humbled one.

Long story short (so sorry!), I merely wanted to thank everyone for being so incredibly kind and welcoming! I've met a great deal of friendly people on here and I hope to expand my horizons, meeting more and more compassionate Minecraft enthusiasts! Thanks again, everybody!

I try to be, too, but technically the glass is always full. (Half air, half water)
