What had happened last time was that Drakonith had been knocked unconscious by A.L.E.N. So now sit back, relax, and enjoy part 11...

I felt big arms carrying me. I realized that it was Ares. Then, everything came back to me. A.L.E.N. killing the knights off. Kat. Nayru. Din. I tried to ask him about them but instead I shrieked in pain and felt the copper taste of blood.

“Relax,” Ares said. “Don’t try to talk.” “Everything’s fine.” “You’re safe.”

I started to see everything around me. Kat was near the side of the mossy cave we were hiding in. The remaining knights huddled up. Nayru was sleeping on some sort of giant leaf. Nayru. At least she is okay. But Din. Where was she? I didn’t see her here. I finally could talk.

“Is Din ok?”

They didn’t respond, but I saw sorrow cross all of their faces. I knew what had happened.

Ares explained. “That creature was about to kill you. Din didn’t want you to die, so she took the hit. She was nearly dead, you know. She then set herself on fire, and the creature nearly fell, along with her dying. It then said that it was now to obey the one who nearly killed him. It would be Din, but, well, he decided to follow you instead, for surviving his “Super fist”. So, now, look over there.”

Alen (We called him that instead of what he stood for) sat in the side, his body broken and bruised, not to mention burnt, but still fine. He smiled and spoke in that familiar crust-sounding voice.

“Welcome, captain.” “Good to see you’re fine.”

I was shocked. This creature had just tried to kill me, but now, it was friendly toward me. I stood up, only to realize it was hard to. I hobbled across the massive cave and curled up against the wall. How could I be defeated like this? Everyone was falling around me. I wanted to die like how it seemed like everyone was. I was curled up when I heard a soft voice.

“It must be hard for you, isn't it?”

I looked up to see Nayru. She slipped beside me.

I nodded. “Yeah.” “I mean, I saw my dead grandfather die again right in front of me, and you saw Din die also.”

She smiled at me. “Hey, you want to know the most precious thing to me?”

“Candy?” I said.

She laughed. “Oh, you make me laugh.” “But no.” “It is not candy.”

She then smiled shyly at me. “The most precious thing to me is… You.”
