NOTE: I suppose it's time for another Poem Blog . . . yay . . .
All About Flying
Someday I'll learn to fly,
I have no doubt at all,
I'll climb a tree and jump right off,
If I don't fly I'll fall.
It's simple logic, obviouse,
As sure as sure can be,
Anyone who says that's wrong,
Has got insanity.
Birds and bats can fly,
Dinosaurs can too,
There are so many that can fly,
So why can't be or you?
My Yelling Goat ( Kind of a Fail but Anyway )
My goat will yell at sunligh breaking,
My goat will yell until she sleeps,
I've always hoped her voice would stop,
But now I know it's there for keeps.
I've tried duck-tape, gum and glue,
To try and stick her mouth shut tight,
The only thing that this's acomplished,
Is a quite unpleasent fight.
I've looked for shows in need of yellers,
If there was some I'm sure she'd win!
And finally I found a person,
Who'd want my Nubian.
They needed her for adverstising,
Their newest brand of "Coughing Drops"
I entered her, and their verdict,
was: "Yep, she really tops."
"If your throat is sore from yelling,
Try out pills (and they are new!)
If it works for this loud Alpine,
I am sure it'd work for you!"
Me and my goat are just so happy,
That for this job she is in,
We don't mind that they say she's Alpine,
Though she is Nubian.
Limerick: The Prancing Winner
There was a young lady from France,
And wherever she went she would prance,
In a certain place,
She entered a race,
In it no one else stood a chance!
