It might sound easy, or if you've been a developer for a couple of years like me, it might be easy. I'm here to help if things get hard, or if you need help. But first let me give you what it's like, and some tips on being a developer.

First - Editing Plugins
First things first, you either have to rent a server or be working for someone that does.
Every server that you rent, or your boss rents usually has a FTP File Access. From there, you can do mostly everything on the server, if the server is run on plugins. A lot of plugins you use can be edited in-game. Although I prefer to use the FTP.

Second - Taking Requests
This step can be very frustrating. Especially when you have a deadline. Although it is easy for me, sometimes I get stressed. Because, I don't have enough time because of things in real life. But one step is stay calm and don't act aggravated at any of the people you are working at. It's bad for business.

Last
Even if the server you are working for is small, it's a start. Treat it like it is a big project. Then, others will see your dedication and work and might hire you. Finally, be nice, honest, and trustworthy.
