According to my friend, he said terraria has something called a Blood Moon or Red Moon, where alot more monsters would spawn, I thought notch should input a feature SIMILAR to it.(Please let me know what it is called)
Anyways, I think this would be an awesome thing to add to minecraft and it would be about 1/20 of a chance to happen, and maybe a special rare boss could occur then and only then. The percentage of monster increase would be between 25%-50% and creatures would have an increase in health, damage, and loot. Also if you have it on hard it should have a 50% occurance.
I would now like to hear what you believe about the idea and what should be added or removed from the idea.

it would be green and look like a slime just without a face. the should be some sort of very rare portal which randomly spawns someplace. then when you teleport to it there should be slimes which act like endermen in the fact that if you look at them then away, they attack you. then the boss should be a GIANT red slime that does double the damage of a normal slime.
