Breaking Away from Minigames and New Server

    Hey Guys, considering the fact that a lot of you liked my lost blog about the new Minecraft Community, (read at - http://www.planetminecraft.com/blog/is-the-minecraft-community-dumbing-down-or-is-this-just-a-new-beginning) I was thinking of creating a server. But this server will be based off of what you, the community wants. Although I will only do survival. PVP and factions are good ideas, so if you support that you can comment, or even think of something else! I am open for any ideas. I would be very happy to create another minecraft server with a bunch of people. It will not be full vanilla, just no creative and/or minigames, But Survival Games may be implemented, but that is for you to decide.

    This Server may not go up for a while, because of my internet and I will be gone for about 10 days after August 5th. But before that I will start building a spawn area and getting all the plugins ready for the final release. I may even take a few builders. I am not sure when I will get back, possibly the 17th - 19th making the server release date on the 20th. One more thing that may affect the server is school. My year begins on August 26th. Which is not good. I can run the server 24/7 on my computer while I am away. So if anyone has any questions, thoughts, or ideas PM or Comment in this post (I prefer the comments). Also start descussions in the comments for a etter chance of being selected for the server. Thanks!

Hey man, go with whatever your heart desires. When you have the type of server YOU want, that is when you ask the community what you should change or add.

I'm not too sure about the factions... I know its popular but, I really think it's starting to fade... But a survival server would be amazing. I would suggest the MCMMO plugin c: and I also say yes to the survival games idea. And also, can you add spawn protection? Because eventually one OP guy is just gonna spawn kill... Or I guess you could turn off PVP but i wouldn't suggest turning it off so people can have 1v1 duels every now and then.... Sorry if this confuses you because it's so out of order xD 

Those are just my opinions though :P

I will definetly have a spawn pretection going, it will be a bigger spawn I hope with shops and that jazz. But the MCMMO I am not entirely sure about that, PVP will be in there with the factions. Thanks!
