Hiya guys! This is my first blog post in my new blog stream, "Brick by Brick". What this is going to be is really just a discussion, (Or just mainly my thoughts) on building, mapping, exploring, and all that jazz!

Anyway, onto the question at hand. What makes a good builder?

Well, I think its 2 things.   1#: Drive, and 2#: Imagination!

We'll  start with drive. You could have THE BEST imagination in the world, but if your a lazybones who playes Minecraft all day- Oh wait. *Facepalm*
Anyways, without the drive to do something it CANNOT be done, no matter the skill or experiance of the builder. A good example are the little things you see constantly updated on the Projects, all titled, "House". While I LOVE that you cared so much to show this generic village house you just took a picture of and posted, its kinda, sorta, a little........... LAME. This person, while they might be very talented, has the attention span of a goldfish. Thats why drive is really important to be a good builder.

Now moving on to number 2, imagination! As any hobo with a Minecraft account could see, its a sandbox game. Say it with me, SAND. BOX. I have actually had people tell me I'm playing Minecraft, "The wrong way". Anyone with a sandbox could attest to the fact that sandboxes are for playing, learning, growing, not staying in lines and never thinking for ourselves! Imagination is want started this, but its not going tho finish it alone. We all need to make it proud by USING this gift for what its worth!
