Ya, know its always hard choosing your first starter i mean come on, my first pokemon EVER was a Turtwig and it was terrible! Now that the fire starter in pokemon X and Y (Fennekin) looks kinda strange to me my mind went strait to the idea of Chespin because I think he is cool and all with the green hair and claws and the only reason I didn't choose Froakie is because he looks like a frog in disguise of a old man.
But you know what totally sucks about starters? In Yellow, they dont even give you a CHOICE, Proffesor Oak is just like "Uh-oh! All the pokemon are gone. Guess you have to choose a Pikachu!" If I had the choice I'd just say "Screw it." then go catch a Caterpie.
