So, You've got a clan, got some friends, and got a base. What next? Raids! Raids are an essential part of PvP. this is when you and your clan go off and wreck someone's base. If it's done right, you've gotta PvP, which makes them awesome. You also get to destroy things. Lots of things.
But before we get dragged into the maelstrom of destruction that is a raid, you've gotta find a base to raid. I'm not talking about small dirt huts right next to the spawn. Raiding those proofs you have no skill. Instead, you're going for profitable clans, who have large bases and tons of goods. So, how do you find their base? This isn't easy. The only really good way of doing it is to get someone inside a clan, and when he's allowed to go to the clan base, all of your warriors TP to him and start fighting like the devil. If your server doesn't support TP(mine doesn't) you're going to have to walk to their base. But how do you organize the people to do this? Well, first find 2-3 full members, and around 3-4 group of untrusted members. Give them all the coordinates of where to meet up, and pick a time that will work for everyone, meaning you have to deal with conflicting time zones. Conducting Raids for me at 9 p.m. is fairly good. Some people get on at 4, others at 9. a.m., or 10 p.m. Once you have a time picked, get all members to head to the coordinates ahead of time. They should all bring these supplies:

- A diamond sword, preferably enchanted with sharpness, fire entity, or knock back
- Iron or Diamond Armor, preferably enchanted with protection
- Health Potions
- 20 blocks of obsidian
- An Iron or Diamond Pick
- 5-6 Lava Buckets
- a couple stacks of smooth stone
Raiding
Once inside your victim's base, engage in furious PvP (PvP group attacking strategies are gonna be my next blog), and once there all dead (don't attack when their are 4 or more in the base-You'll lose people). Remember to set your homes so that you can join the fight again if you die. Kill the resistance and pinpoint their clan teleportation spawn point. Place two blocks of obsidian here. This tactic suffocates them, and is used by most raiders and even some griefers. They however, use cobblestone. Use OBSIDIAN. You can destroy cobblestone quick enough with your hands. I've done it. But you can't with obsidian. Once they can't get to their base, search their base for a room full of chests. Be careful, it may be a trap, but if it's not, remember to set your home, and TP to your base. Place items into your own clan's treasury, then warp back using home. If you can find their treasury, break possible doors till you do. Once you've gotten all the items they had (excluding the terrible stuff) Pour Lava all over the place, then seal up doors until you're all in the victim clan's base teleportation spawn room. Close up the Passage, and finally puy a sign saying your clan raided them. Sign your username, then break the obsidian. Tell the victims you've done so and then leave, leaving the poor guys to sort out the mess you've made.
Bonus Points if you:
- Set up booby traps in side their base.
- Make a false exit from the clan base spawn point room that kill them using a trap.
- Broadcast their clans coordinates online every time one of your members come online. (this completely ruins them because they have to move)
- Blow a huge hole on top of their base so anyone can enter it.
