Welcome All!
It is now 1.4.5 and Minecraft has gotten really horrible! We need a mod to stabilise the game once and for all, so here is my ideas

The mod must be

1. Lag Worthy
Laggy game? Oh hell no! We cannot have any lag whatsoever! This part of the mod is quite useful because many older computers experience a whole lot of lag. But how can we stop lag without copying the unique code of optifine?

We Will Do It Like This:

  1. The game will stop the script of any unnecessary files. So if a file does not need to be used at the time, it will be temporarily disabled for the time being!
  2. Chunks are no longer 16x16x256. They are in fact now 32x32x256. A a bigger chunk will make it easier to load and unload the world.
  3. Despawning of mobs is very necessary. There is a strict mob limit of 50-100 at one time. If any more mobs are spawned, the most necessary despawns. If 1000 chickens are spawned, only 50-100 will appear. More will appear then if some chickens die or roam out of sight.

2. Multiplayer Worthy
There are many issues with the current multiplayer systems!
  1. We will add a setting for changing the server from Vanilla to Bukkit.
  2. Command blocks are enabled by default
  3. Colours can be used at any time
  4. Everything shown in Lag Worthy (Mob limit can be adjusted)
  5. Global bans through minecraft.net
  6. Easy protforwarding in client

3. 3rd Party Worthy
What this means is that 3rd parties can access Minecraft more easily. This can be done like this:
  1. There is a texture maker located in the texture pack section. You can edit the texture pack and change the resolution. Once your done, you can upload it directly to your texture saves or any approved MC website (including planetminecraft.com) Only 1 texture pack can be uploaded every 24 hours and the textures are recommended to be moderated if on sites like PMC.
  2. And by the way, you can use high definition and low definition texture packs without having to get 3rd party programs.
  3. A mod maker similar to Linksei's Mod Maker can be located in a new client modifications section. You can then save and upload to the game or site. In the new client modifications section, you can enable and disable mods at your wish to suit your current needs. Mods will not be removed in client updates. As with the textures, 1 per 24 hours.
  4. Skins can be changed through a new skins section. You can edit skins as well as upload them directly in game. You can save skins however Steve is here by default and cannot be removed. Skins will be used offline as well. It is now saved to your client instead of minecraft.net. In the case you must play offline, your skin's still here! If you connect to multiplayer, skins are fetched off players when they join via console.
  5. Servers can be created through the multiplayer section. They are hosted through the game. If you have rented a server, you can type in the ip. You can also connect via both ip and name. No 2 servers are able to have the same name! Names are cAse SeNSItiVe. You may put punctuation marks in your names. Colours do work as well as bold, italics and the weird thing &k does. There is also a server list you can look through. It also has a simple port forwarding program which connects to your router (if you give permission, won't send viruses or anything)

4. Singleplayer Worthy
Issues can be found commonly through singleplayer.
  1. If there is a block non-obtainable via vanilla Minecraft or the game's current version, a block that takes 5 seconds to break worth all tools appears. It is known as an unobtainable block and is purple as in the blank spaces of the default textures.
  2. The superflat presets can be configured in a much easier way. This can be done via clicking on customise and then a 256x20 interface appears. You can configure how many, and what type of blocks are found on this preset. You may also configure the structures located on the preset. You can also save a preset.
  3. More gamemodes and world generators are required. This means that there can be gamemodes such as preset adventures, capture the flag and a gamemode where you can get the most minerals as you can within a time limit. There can also be hunger games, spleef and parkour maps. Spleef and hunger games can have NPC computer players and parkour can be randomly generated. Adventure maps can be downloaded or players may use a map already created by Mojang. World generations can include skyblock, underground or a preset generation which is configured like superflat.

That's it for me! Bye!

1)
1) It doesn't really do that, but sure
2. It will most likely lag more, and be annoying for players. World generation/biome generation will become extremely hard and annoying.3) You can't just remove something from the code/chunk. Thats not how it works. 4) Maybe, but you only do that in a mod, so its not in the vanilla game. Maybe theres a reason for people doing that.

2)
1) Bukkit? Sure. Tekkit? No, its practically illegal. They dont have permission from all the mod creators to use it.
2) Not everyone wants them
3) ehh, nice idea, but no. We already get a lot of spam mods from mod makers like linkseyi's, so, this would just add to the spam.
4) Maybe
5) Nice idea, but port-forwarding could be an issue.

3)
1) Again, the issue of spam. But nice idea :)
2) Agreed, HD Texturepack support would be really nice and useful :)
3) Same as #1
4) Yeah, good idea :)
5) Agreed, but port-forwarding could be a problem...

4)
1) ehh, no
2) Sure, but it would be hard to use. Something like the mod WEDGE?
3) I dont necessarily agree with your gamemode ideas, but I think thereshould be more. I also think there should be more world generations.

Over all?
Nice ideas :D
