When the first bits of code, began to be placed,

A blue block was formed, and it floated in space.


Then the blue block went BOOM! And out of it appeared,


A big bunch of planets, of which one was weird.


This planet was strange, as you already know,


For in this one, small blocky life was to grow.


Small bits of binary code came to be,


Alive, just the same, as you and as me.


Squids, flies, and frogs, and dinosaur things,


All ran across deserts, through grass and through trees.


While this stuff was happening, and all this unfurled,


A Nether-like planet crashed into the world.


The Nether embedded itself in the core,


Then the planet rebuilt, and mobs saw it no more.


Strange big-nosed people began to build homes,


On huge snowy plains, where pig-mammoths roamed.


These people got smarter, and before you knew it,


They had lots more knowledge, and they liked to use it.


They made mines, and crafted and made things explode,


They made themselves villages, and called them their homes.


As the world then advanced, and advanced, and advanced,


Poof! There he spawned, just one simple man.
