- Make sure to advertise it correctly.Your best option would be YouTube,if your not well known on YouTube you'll have to work hard. Advertise it on a website like PMC this would work great all you need is a good name and Profile Picture for your server.Make your own website for it that is the most common why to do it.
- The spawn has to be good,try downloading one but before you do that ask the creators permission.You could get a very advanced group of builders to help you.Make sure your spawn has rules and other information on the server.
- Plugins are one of the most important thing.The main mods that you need are Messaging Teleporting Mods make sure they work.Other advanced mods are still very good to use,to atrack more people use mods like Fraction and PVP mods.
- Server Texture Packs are always fun.Make sure you choose one that represents your server correctly for example if you have a PVP server use a Dark texture pack.Make sure it has shaded textures.Make sure the texturepack is other the top you don't want lag.
- You need your server to be fun.Add some fun extra's like Skyblock,Hunger Games and Parkour.For extra fun make survival creative and role play worlds.Some players maybe don't like PVP or griefing so make Non Griefing Worlds and Griefing Worlds so everyone can enjoy.
