This is my first interview and today, I will be interviewing Sparki Wolf!! She is an artist and and well, I don't want to spoil so here it is!!
Finn: Should we start now or are you busy with something? I don't wanna disturb.
Sparki: Not at the moment. Go ahead. :D
Finn: Interview commencing! :D
F: So, I was very curious from the start. Why did you choose your name to be Sparki Wolf? Are you into electric stuff or you like wolves or some other reason?
S: Well, sorta' both and also some other stuff. XD I really have liked wolves for 6 years and when I learned how to draw better, I decided to create a wolf character. I couldn't come up with a name for her though. I wanted a really cool name for her...something unique. Me and my friends were just shouting out random names when one of my friends jokingly said "Sparky", the name of his dog. I just laughed and thought nothing of it at the time but decided to name the character, Allusia. My friend kept calling her Sparky though as a joke...Eventually the name sort of stuck with me and I changed her name to Sparky. The altered spelling "Sparki" came from a typo but it looked cool so I kept it. The wolf called Sparki is now my mascot. :) I guess it does sound kinda' elecrical too...I really like robots so...COOL!
F: Haha. I have to say that wolves are pretty cool! If only I could like have one as a pet. xD
On to the next question!
Where did you learn to draw? (Your art is really awesome btw) Art school or it simply runs in your blood?
S: Thanks! A wolf as a pet would be awesome if they didn't kill you when they got scared. xD
I think I only took 2 art lessons in my entire life. Both were watercolor classes.
My mom and dad met in art class so I guess it does sorta' run in my blood. :)
F: Two art lessons? Wow.
Is it like really hard to draw, in your opinion?
S: Well...now that depends on what I'm drawing.
Backgrounds are a big challenge for me, and I don't usually put a lot of detail into them, but I'm getting better. :3
Wolves and robots are the easiest things for me to draw. Shading has recently gotten a lot easier too. I think it really depends on the piece.
F: Well, practice makes perfect, right? Before drawing and your passion for art surfaced, did you do something else?
S: Hmm...not really. I've loved art since I was very little but I did do other things. I loved to read (and still do) and I was a total animal fanatic (still like animals...but a little less now XD)! I loved everything that had to do with animals and Science was my favorite subject in school. I really liked exotic pets as well. At one time I had 6 pets all at the same time! I've had a variety of animals over the years, some of them were very strange: Crabs, dogs, a cat, rats (they are very nice btw), exotic fish, an evil rabbit (that's another story). Right now I just have a dog. :)
I was also into bird watching and photography for a couple years.
F: I also loved to read and like you, I was like bananas for animals. xD
I had like 20 different kinds of fish but sadly they all died. :(
This is gonna be the second to the last question.
Any ambitions or dreams?
S: Poor fishies. >.< My fish died too...
I hope to one day become a popular artist...and maybe (I know this is kinda'...eh...) publish the story I'm writing if I ever finish it. xD
I think it's a pretty interesting story and I have a few people who like it so...I guess it's worth trying to keep writing. :3
F: Nice!! I also want to become a popular author? Let fate decide. I haven't stepped on the stone yet. xD
So, this is the last question and I'm trying to fit two into it. xD
Any tips for aspiring artists out there? (such as me xD) Do you have any other hobbies now besides writing and art?
S: Sparki's Horrible Tips:
As for that other question...hobbies...hmmmmmmm... OH! I like to make little miniatures with nature objects and hot glue. I got a scar from the hot glue once but I still keep making miniatures. I don't like to buy the ready-made trees and stuff from craftstores. I just make my own! I take twigs and moss and glue em' together to make a tree. XD It's really fun actually.
(miniatures are like the things with the little trains that move around on a board or whatever with tiny people, buildings, trees, etc.)

- Find out what your good at drawing...and don't draw it. Take a break from that and work on something your bad at.
- If you mess up on a sketch but you like a part of it, don't throw it away (yes...even if it's HORRIBLE). Keep it and see how you progress through your second drawing.
- Don't give up on a drawing if you can't seem to get it right. Keep you fails in a little pile on your workspace and try again the next day. Some days you just can't draw. xD
