Hey, my little sugar-coated caramel squidgies! >w< Today's blog is a shading tutorial, because, well, I figured out a new shading technique! 8D
I've recently begun using MCSkin3D by Paril and whtdragon to make my skins, as it makes it soooo much easier to shade than when you use an online editor :3
Well, this is how I shade hair!
First of all, I pick the base colour and block in the basics of the skin. I don't do all the fancy stuff about making a colour palette or using layers, I just do it really simply to save time!
Then I use the dodge tool (click the little pin icon and select dodge). I make a rectangle on the hair and put a cross shape on top of it, pointing in the direction I want the light to be shining in.
On the sides of the head just do them pointing towards the face!
For the top and back of the head I don't make an arrow, I just do this:
Then after that I use the burn tool (click on the pin and select dodge)
I just outline the section and draw lines going down :3 I overlap them in the corners and where the lines meet to get a little definition!
I hope my tutorial helped you, my little chocolate-coated cherry dumplings!
(Yes, I'm feeling kawaii today >w< )

Will this work on the miners shoes skin maker?
Erm, I have a question. Do I have to download .NET Framework to use MCSkins3D? Did you?
