I'm writing this in hopes that it hopes someone, or more :P
Making this because of being stumped by a constant crash, knew the cause but not why. Console was clean.

Have an unusual error? Can't figure it out? Nothing showing in console? Or is and is too vague?
Well here is how I handle things like this.

1.

Do your best to reproduce the incident, if someone has a lead onto what it may be then listen to them. You can also whitelist and pinpoint it with someone rather easily. But still probably crashing.

2.

Make a new world if you can afford to, keep all your plugins working disable none. Start in the new world, I advise some sort of backup before doing this, also whitelisting while doing this. When in the new world try to reproduce the same issue.
If you can't that means there's something going on with your world rather than plugin setup. (Most of the time that is.)
I recommend checking for corrupted chunks by yourself or updating/downgrading see if it helps. Never ran into world problems before though. If this happens feel free to post!

If you can reproduce the problem see #3

3.

So this means one of your plugins is causing the issue, I recommend disabling them all (but the one you think that's causing trouble) by replacing the .jar files to .jap files or something else like .disable. So the plugins can't run, leave all but one plugin enabled, run the server and again try to reproduce the issue, if you can successfully reproduce it with only one plugin, it's 9 times out of 10 that plugin alone. Disable it. Then try the rest all one without it see if you can reproduce, you probably can't but! If you can..

Haivng to do process of elimination to find the issue, what plugins aren't working together or just not working properly.
Go through them one by one, I know this takes some time but it's probably one of the easist ways to fix it if you cannot properly find the problem.

5.

A good way of avoding this from happening again, is before you do any edits big edits, make a back up. Or just remember what you editted and keep the basic config somewhere so you can easily revert if you make a mistake. Also read about the plugins compatibility with other plugins, most of them will state they do not work well with certain plugins!

If you run into a questionable error and don't know what it is, done this process of elimination you should be set to go, because you will find when it runs and when it doesn't run properly. It's just a matter of fixing or just disabling the problems altogether. Any questions feel free to ask, i'm always willing to help!
