I found a great minecraft server hosting website. You can get a free trial for 48 hours that allows 5 people to play on a vanilla server. You can pay monthly per person for only $1 and if you want a big mod like tekkit/bukkit/feed the beast/hack/mine/DayZ it will only cost you from $.50 to $2 extra per person!
