Okay, griefers, why are you so mean? Q_Q

Well, first thing I thought I should tell you about them... They mostly do it for fun or because they are real jealous.

I remember being griefed once... (Yup) I built one of my first 5 statues on my friend's plot and someone who hated me (I'm not pointing fingers) got added and I left the server for a day, came back, my statue had cobblestone, water, bedrock, and lava allover it, you could barely see the blocks underneath. There were holes almost everywhere in the statue. Someone told me, I came rushing, we destroyed everything, and an admin finally came and banned the person who griefed. Problem solved. But the bad news was, I had to rebuild everythinnnnngggg. T^T We all know how lazy I am with building. So there's a big empty spot where my statue was and I build a grave for it. That's the end of my story. *w*

Back to blogging for real -
Now, I'm pretty sure a lot of us have had to deal with grief and we hated them. We may have said some things to the griefers because we got real upset and we were raging.
No, we can't do that.

They are trying to get a reaction out of you, don't fall for their tricks.
==================================================================================

They'll grief you for the most dumbest reasons.

1: Maybe you did something and didn't even know, and they're very angry with you.

2: Like I said before, they're jealous.

3: They enjoy to grief you. They're meanies.

4: They think it's fun.

5: Maybe your build offends them in some way?

6: They'll do it, trying to make it a joke.

I would like to make a promise to everyone.
I am no griefer, nor will I ever be, and I promise I will never break something of yours without your permission. I would not like to be a griefer, even if someone told me they'd give me something really really cool and amazingly awesome with a side of fantabulous, I will never try to hurt your build. And if I keep my promise, I would like for you to please promise the same thing to me. If I fail to keep my promise - though, I swear I will - you may do it to me, but only as big as what I did to you. Now I would like you to promise me the same thing. If you're a griefer, please stop, you're hurting everyone and they shouldn't have to deal with it.

Here's another reason for a grief :
You destroyed something of their's on accident, not knowing any better.

Now for Flametta:

Griefers have always been one of the negative things in minecraft. They destroy the builds you worked hard to make for some of the dumbest reasons. I'll tell you the reasons I think griefers grief.

1: A breakup, if they just broke up with you most of the time they'll get mad and maybe resort to griefing.

2: You've annoyed them somehow and they just rage.

3: They're just jerks. (This is probably the most common reason.)

4: They're mad at you for something you didn't do, gossip etc.

5: Your build offends them somehow.

If its any of these its still wrong, griefing is banned on most servers and it can hurt a lot of feelings even if you thought it was just a prank. Now I'll do some examples of how I've been griefed.

The first time I was griefed was when I trusted a guy to my plot to help me build something. When I logged out I forgot to delete him from my plot and he griefed it with world edit. It couldn't be rolled back and I was devistated. The only way I knew it was him was he left a sign blaming it on my best friend.

The second time was after an arguement with my friend, he destroyed my plot. I thought it was just a fall out but I must of offended him somehow.

The third time was a statue I built for someone on my plot, they didn't like it so they destroyed it.

These are just a few examples of the many reasons someone will grief.
