Hello everyone! First off I want to start by stating this isn't just nonsense pulled out of thin air. Im not going to be saying Herobrine has ever been in the game, or ever will be, or is. I understand fully that all appearances are faked. However, even Fandom can hold grains of truth, especially when something has been acknowledged by the creators of the original content.

To begin: What am I referring to? For Halloween this year, a Skin pack and Toy were both released, containing a character known only as the Farlander. Some people may know, this was an early name for the Endermen, before it was scrapped. But seemingly this is being reworked entirely, with some concepts being reused, such as the name and place of origin, for a new race in the Minecraft world. One that as not, and probably will not, ever make it into the game as an NPC, but still seemingly exists in the scarce lore.

This Farlander is shown above, as the image. Notably, she has dark brown hair, and white eyes, those being the two major connections to Herobrine's look. She also have several chunks of her body floating separately, which- even in a world with magic- is a bit of an oddity that should not be occurring. This is the end of the fact road and now I delve into theory more. If we consider the first two major fake Herobrine moments to be what Mojang would consider 'canon' to the lore, we know Herobrine's powers to be simply teleportation, and the ability to manipulate the game as a player could: mining, placing blocks, etc.

Farlanders are the most player-like creature in the lore at the moment, aside from Zombies and Skeletons which are undead players. So it only makes sense they would have the ability to manipulate the world likewise. However, as we all know, the Farlands are a strange and broken world. They extend beyond the physical limits of the game, in early versions being broken repeating landmasses with no collision, and in later versions crashing the game on entry. This might explain why the Farlander has chunks of its head and body 'glitching' away from it. However, if what I am saying is Herobrine is a Farlander, why does he not share these traits? It is possible he is an older entity, traveling to the World sooner than the rest and learning to adapt his physical form to fit. Or its possible he is only Half Farlander-Half Player.

Regardless, it seems fairly certain that Herobrine, in the lore at least, is related to the Farlanders in a significant way. This design would have had to go through Mojang artists most likely, or the Brand Director, Winters. I obviously dont work for Mojang so I dont know the internal structure of their staff, but it had to be approved. And they could not have not noticed the resemblance and implications.

Either way, thats an interesting tidbit I noticed, and wanted to share. It intrigued me enough that I bought the figure pack it was in to get my hands on one.
