Firstly, picking the correct software for the job is very important. I would pick Fraps but its up to you.
You must consider things such as Cpu cores and ram etc. Try testing around with some settings and figure our what is best for your pc. Once you have recorded your video most youtubers would edit it. So you may want to also test around with some software such as sony v and try some rendering out.
