It's been quite some time since I've blogged in earnest. I used to be a Tumblr fanatic a few years back, doing what seems like every other Tumblr user did - post angst, and lots of it.

I like to think that I've come a long way in the few years since then, even though I more than likely haven't. I've definitely lost my touch with blogging, that's for sure. My first (and pretty much only thought) has been 'Should I give this a theme...?' Alternatively, I could just post whatever comes to mind which, come to think of it, is pretty much exactly what I'm doing right now. The lack of a 'reblog' or 'like' button isn't helping things - God knows I've gone looking for them without even realizing it. Old habits die hard, I guess.

So, I guess a good place to start is creative writing. I always did enjoy writing small stories and plays... Unfortunately, that's an entirely different thing to actually writing them well. I guess that's why I'm so drawn to the RP community around here - it gives me guidelines and other people to bounce ideas/plot development off. It's just enough to keep me on track and focused on writing well, but not enough to stifle my creativity. The perfect balance, if you will.

Anyway, that's where I'm going to start off with this whole 'blogging' thing: with short stories, plays, poems, etc. I'm all open for topics or story ideas, feel free to message me and I'll try my best to write one up for you.
