POP REEL! Thank you all!!!! :DSo, I just came back from eating a Baked Potato, we ran out of Cheese and Sour Cream... :( But I had Bacon, so that made it better. :D
Almost all of us have wanted to be Popular on MC and PMC, for some of us, its easy, but for others, its a really big hard task to do. So I made this blog! Hope you enjoy!
How to be Popular on Minecraft!
1.) Be Mature
This is probably the easiest one and the most important I'm going to say today. If you're mature and not use excessive caps / Cuss words people will be more likely ask you to join their server / Faction. If your not, then people will not really want you to hang out with them or for the most part, do anything with you
EXAMPLE 1: xXnoobmaster33Xx joins AwesomeCraft, says nothing to all the "Welcome!"'s and "Hey!"'s that he gets when he joins, and asks dumb questions like "how do i atak" and "can i b staff" "how can i do that" to someone who does !Join my faction guys! (that guy is shouting) and used caps and swear words a lot.
This is a good example of people who are noobs / un-mature and thats exactly what you want to be like, if you DONT want to be popular on Minecraft.
EXAMPLE 2: xXNoobMaster33Xx joins AwesomeCraft, and says to all the "Welcome!" 's and "Hey!"'s that he gets when he joins, "Thanks! I'm glad to be here!" . and experiments with with /help, and some keys on his Keyboard. And doesn't ask if he can be staff.
Thats a good example of someone whos Mature and probably someone you'd want as a friend.
2.) Be social
This is another important one.
If your social, people will know that you're mature, and probably trust worthy
If your not social, people will think that your a little kid and isn't very trust worthy
EXAMPLE 1: xXnoobmaster33Xx joins AwesomeCraft, isn't social, and isn't very active when he's been playing for about 2 months, he asks "can i be staff", and is turned down for the reason that he isn't very Active, and isn't social.
EXAMPLE 2: xXNoobMaster33Xx joins AwesomeCraft, is social, and is very active, when he's been playing for about a year, he asks "Can I be Staff?" and since he is popular on the server, active, and Social, they take his Application into account.
Both of those examples are realistic, and easy things to come by.
3.) Have some skill (PvPing, Farming, etc)
So, this one, this is probably one of the hardest in this section
You pretty much have to find a home far away from the rest of people, and Mine, Hunt, and practice shooting. Then when you find Diamond, or just Iron, you can make armor, weapons, and whatever, and go back to spawn, make a base and make a powerful faction! and since you have (Or will get) PvPing and Archery skills, people will want to join your faction.
EXAMPLE 1: xXnoobmaster33Xx begs, for stuff such as Iron and Diamond and gets really un-popular by begging, and spamming, and stealing. He gets really un-Popular (even more so) by disrespecting staff / owner. So eventually, he gets banned.
EXAMPLE 2: xXNoobMaster33Xx gets away from everyone with his starter kit, and digs a mine, finds a Abandoned Mineshaft. He mines everything in there, makes a bow from Cobwebs and sticks, finds a Skele dungeon to supply him with arrows. Then he goes back to spawn, and asks to join a faction. and gets accepted.
(Yes the xXNoobMaster33Xx is based on me. :) except that I'd go back to spawn and kill / derp noobs) So, those examples happen on almost every PvP Faction server. The people with who do the 2nd Example, will get more popular, faster, then people who dont.
4.) Be Helpful!
Sometimes when people hear this when their staff, they think that Helpful, Hmm, give out food and diamond too noobs! What it really means is: If a noob asks a question or is stuck somewhere, or lost their rank, you Teleport 'em out, or give them some advice (/spawn, /warp, /home etc.) and tell the Owner of the glitch and whatever else. Also, you dont even have to be staff to help out, you can just give up some stuff that you dont need, like, stone / Iron sword, or not even that! But being helpful is a big part of being Popular on Minecraft.
5.) Be Nice
So this sorta falls under Be Helpful, but its a different Concept. So, if your helpful, then you help out,, if your Nice, (Which sorta falls hand in hand with Be Helpful) You compliment other people builds, and as in Be Helpful, give them some free items if you can, those small and simple things gets you friends, and gets you more and more popular. (STORY TIME WITH ZENITH!! :D :D :D) So, me, personally. try to do all these things on any game I do. And it payed off after a day or two. So, I was playing on Clash of Clans (An iPhone game) joined a clan as a rank 31, and Donated, helped out, got Elder-ship pretty fast, and got a bunch of good friends! But when I was off, people were asking if I was on, and I wasn't. So someone said "No, not that I know of" and the other guy, said Darn, and they continued with a conversation of how nice I was, and that, made my day.

PART 2
HOW TO BE POPULAR ON
PLANET MINECRAFT
(I do not have experience on being very popular on PMC this part of the blog is guess work, or what I've been told.)
1.) Dont Cuss / Caps
So, if you comment on a skin, or a Blog (Like this one) and talk in caps and all those nasty words that people shouldn't know in the first place, People dont think your mature. and, people wont take your stuff seriously if you make something, and above all that, its just plain ugly and rude. Almost never do people enjoy people who use caps / Cuss words.
2.) Comment
Everone likes a comment! Comment here! On this blog! So, if you comment with a suggestive comment, people will click on your name (Probably) and see all your awesome stuff on your profile, and say "Hey! This guy has some awesome stuff! I'll subscribe and tell my friends! :D" So, some people might think that commening is useless and a type of spam. But its actually not! It encourages the maker of that thing, tells them that your willing to give feedback!
3.) Compliment
Some people might not think that Compliments get you popular, but it does
If you Compliment, people will see that your nice, and probably click on your name and see all the awesome stuff you make, sub you, and maybe tell their friends! But they might not. Also,Compliments let people see that: 1, your Nice (As said before.) 2, you take the time to give feed back on their stuff. Its a very simple step that leads to Popularity.
4.) Upload awesome stuff
So, you just made a skin (I'm a skinner/blogger so I'm referring to skinning.) Its a very a pretty terrible skin, but you upload it. Thats your first mistake. If you make a skin, try to make it look Purtty. Dont just make skins with almost no effort for the XP. Try to think about people USING the skin, not you getting XP from it. (Thats always good to, but dont put it as top priority.) PMC is here to help people get Servers Texture Packs, mods and Skins! (And other stuff too. :) ) No one really wants a skin that has little to none effort in it. It even says in the rules that you shouldn't.
5.) Be yourself
This one goes all 'round today (Meaning for MC and PMC)
This section is the MOST important one probably ever. Being yourself: You act how you'd normally act when with your family/friends IRL.
Not being yourself will make you IRL different, and when you join your friends server (Example) It will be hard for you, to change how you usually act, instead of when your on a different server
So just be yourself! Its a whole lot easier, and it will get you way more friends
6.) Chat & Forums
So, a lot of you are probably going like Whhaaattttt???? Well, Guess what! Chat and Forums are good places to start getting popular. Because from there, you can promote your stuff. And if your on those places a lot, then you'll get better known 1,026,305 members of PMC. Which WILL come in handy.
