-5 water buckets
-5 observers
-5 pistons
-5 redstone dust
-1-5 sugar cane
Place 5 water on a straight line
Place the 5 pistons above the water (2 blocks)
Above the pistons, place your observers with the face facing the same direction as the pistons
Place 5 temporary blocks behind your pistons
Dust your redstone above the T. blocks
NOW THE SUGAR CANE SHOULD START GROWING TO MAKE THE MACHINE WORK!!!
