How to Creeper-Proof your House.
Step One) Make a fence around your house and fill in the space between your house and the fence with ocelots (Using Raw fish to lure them there).
Step Two) Make the main part of your house (the place you are most of the time) high up (3 or higher floor) or under ground ( 10 blocks down) to make sure that the creepers wont spot you while you are in your house.
Step Three) Build your house under water. This will prevent block damage from creepers but not player damage.
Step Four) If you are rich, make a obsidian shell around your house. About 4 blocks of air should be in between the wall and the house. Add lots of light to the inside of the wall to prevent them from spawning there.
Step Five) Add a lot of light to your house and outside of your house. This will stop them from spawning by your house.
Step Six) Make a moat / trench around your house 3 blocks wide and 3 blocks deep. Fill the bottom with lava and cover the blocks on the inside with signs (to fool the creepers in to walking on it, then they will fall in)
Step Seven) Go to sleep at night and don't just go wandering aimlessly when a creeper is by your house.
Step Eight) Go in to peaceful mode..... D3Яp...

If you follow at least a few of these steps, you wont be seeing any creepers by your house for a long time..
