1. Creepers explode


For those of you who have only just started playing and dono t know what a creeper is, there u go. It is a green mob that sneaks up to unsuspecting players and detonates. Leaving a hole in the ground from the explosion. The creeper is a dangerous mob and is deadly unless youo re protected.


2. Hit and run


Knockback is possible when the player hits a mob. A mob can also give knockback to the player. If a player sprints before hitting, the mob will get knocked back allot further than usual. This is a good thing to do if the player is not good with creeper combat because this strategy gives the player time to run.


3. You need to be on flat area


People always get annoyed when they are running backwards fighting off a creeper and they get blocked off by a single block of grass or stone that just happened to be there. So a good strategy is to lure a creeper on to flat land. That way, there are no blocks in your way. If the creeper is on a hill and youo re looking up at it, it can drop down on you and you may not have enough time to escape.


4. Dono t hesitate


I have seen allot of YouTube videos showing minecraft gameplay of a sort where the host of the video freaks out because a creeper is after him/her and because of this, they die. It is so annoying watching this happen because people like me are always up for a fight and will take on a creeper with nothing but fists.


5. Death comes quickly with the right tools


On the Xbox, both an iron and diamond sword will kill a creeper in 2 hits. While on the pc version, an iron sword takes 3.


6. Creepers in groups


Creepers are mainly spotted in groups. Where there is one, there are usually many. So if you see one on your travels, always be prepared to face abought 4 of them.


7. traps


this can work for other mobs other than creepers. lets say your in your house, and a mob is at your door. lucky you installed a trap. pull that leaver and activate the piston infront of the door. kill those stupid mobs and take their body parts!!!!!


8. ocelots


from what i have found on the web, and the comments bellow, i now know that ocelots protect you from creepers. if your lucky enough to get an ocelot then you wont have to worry abought all these tips. problem solved :D
