Welcome to the enjin toturial
In this tutorial you'll learn how to make a good-looking free website!
Hello!
Since many people seem to struggle with making a good-looking enjin website, I've decided to help you out. If you follow the instructions carefully, you'll end up with a website like this one: eastcraftsurvival.enjin.com/
I built this website for a SMP server a couple of weeks ago. Feel free to join it on 192.99.5.223:25665
Step 1: Starting off
In order to start a website, you have to go to this link: www.enjin.com/dashboard/settings/website
Click to reveal
Step 2: Deleting modules
If you have created your own website, it will be "trial plan". If you won't be able to pay for the website after the trial period, you should downgrade instantly. In order to do that, you have to go to yourdomainnamehere.enjin.com/admin/modules
and you have to delete the modules that you don't need until you have only 20 modules left. You don't have to bother too much about deleting the modules, you can get them back later if you want to have them again.
Click to reveal
I suggest to delete these 10, because you can't use them when you are free:
- top forum likes
- HTML
- RSS feed
- Calandar system
- mini calendar
- upcoming events
- chat
- shoutbox
- gallery
- general form
- website group pay (unused)
Step 3: Downgrading from Trial
If you have done that, you can downgrade your website on yourdomainnamehere.enjin.com/admin/plans

Step 4: Getting a free theme
Since the starting theme looks terrible (at least that's my opinion, you may want to get a new theme first. Go to yourdomainnamehere.enjin.com/admin/themelayout
Please click on the "free" button on the left so you can only see the free themes. I suggest using the marble or the simplicity themes, but you can chooce which you want.
Step 5: Adding the enjin plugin
The enjin support team has made a great tutorial on how to add it. Go to support.enjin.com/hc/en-us/articles/200169325-Installing-the-Enjin-MC-Plugin and follow the instructions carefully.
Step 6: Making pages
The website is ready to be setup now. Because of the fact that the free themes have advertisements, I suggest you to use your space as efficient as possible. To edit pages, go to yourdomainnamehere.enjin.com/admin/pages Side note: Every time you make a new page, you should add it in the "top menu" module.
The best thing you can do is to make 3 columns on every page and leave the right column empty, because a big advertisement will appear there. You can still use the other 2 columns though.

Adding modules on pages is self-explainatory and you'll get used of it soon enough. Every container holding a module can be configured as well. You can remove/add a header or a footer. I prefer to use both, but you may choose.

Step 7: Editing modules
If you have finally placed your modules on the right pages, you may want to start editing them. If you want to edit a module, go to yourdomainnamehere.enjin.com/admin/modules again and press the "edit" button next to the "delete" button. You may edit the modules the way you want. When you have edited all of the modules, you are ready to go!
You can use the website as an example if you want to (eastcraftsurvival.enjin.com/). It has changed a bit since I made this blog though :)
If you need any help, just reply to this thread and I'll answer your questions. Any feedback on how to improve this tutorial is welcome as well.
Kind regards,
Brego
