Today I will be telling you how to make a great server (not how to host it) via 2 tutorials:

So basically simply start your server via your console if the server is hosted or via start.bat/run.bat.

Once everything is loaded simply stop the server. Once you've done so put Essentials zip file into the plugins folder (your server must be craftbukkit/bukkit) and extract it. Once you've done so start the server and let it be online.

Go into the config.yml file in Essentials folder and configure it yourself (must be done otherwise your server would truly suck), and then write this into your console "essentials reload" (without the slash). Get into your server and check what you have done. Another thing you MUST have is WorldEdit and WorldGuard otherwise you wouldnt have a good protected server, so go get it! Once you've got those plugins put them into the plugins folder (only the .jar files) and reload the server by typing "reload" into the servers console. After you've done so I would suggest you to either get EssentialsGroupManager or PermissionsEx plugin to configure the groups/permissions. For example if you've chosen EssentialsGroupManager (groupmanager), you must put it into the plugins folder and reload the server afterwards, once you've done so continue configuring the groups/permissions either by typing /mangaddp (which is to add the permission to the certain group) or /mangadd (which is used to create groups) OR simply go into groups.yml file located in "../plugins/GroupManager/worlds/world/groups.yml" and configure the groups yourself! (its really simple, also dont forget to reload the server once you've edited the groups.yml file and saved it)

Everything should be working now and you should be ready to go! Invite friends, murder monsters, and play minecraft while you can!

# Set the locale for all messages.
# If you don't set this, the default locale of the server will be used.
# For example, to set language to English, set locale to en, to use the file "messages_en.properties".
# Don't forget to remove the # in front of the line.
# For more information, visit wiki.ess3.net/wiki/Locale
#locale: en <---------------------- Remove the hash-tag and save the file
Once you've saved the file, find the messages_en.properties file by googling it and simply put it into Essentials folder. Edit the messages_en.properties file the way you wish/want and then simply write into the console "essentials reload". Everything should be working fine from this point and insert more plugins the way like this and edit them yourself! I am hoping that this helped you.

If it said how to add multiple worlds into your server, I'd find it EXTREMELY helpful.

But it still helped me either way.

Add worlds? You mean create worlds? To create worlds you must do /mvcreate [name] normal (-t flat if you want it to be flat)

Or simply put any kind of a world in the servers folder and do /mvimport [the worlds name], wait until its done and simply do /mvtp [the worlds name] to see if its working. If it isnt working then your upload either didnt finish or you did something wrongly.

Put the world in your server folder, where the normal world is too.
Then just type /mvimport [worldname] normal
with /mvtp [worldname] you can teleport to it
