First Up Download Minecraft 1.8 Server.exe https://minecraft.net/download. Now Make a file name it anything and drag your minecraft 1.8 server.exe into it. Now double click your server. If it didn't open thats good. Now go into eula and where it says false change that to true and then save it. Now run it again. It should have opened up. Now click your windows bar at the left hand corner does not work for mac. Type cmd now click the first one that pops up. Now type this in your cmd     ipconfig     . Now look where it says IPv4 Adress what ever is next to it is your server ip. Now go into your server and go into server/server properties there is a lot of information there for your server but your not going to do any thing there. Now in your server properties look for where it says server ip,  where it says that type in your IPv4 adress that you saw a second ago. Now go into your minecraft and add a server and put the ip as your ip. Now you have made a server BUT if you want to be admin or add admin do this go into your minecraft server that you ran at the begginig and where the chat box is type this in     op your username      example    op harry2709    

And thats it          P.S your minecraft server jar thingy has to be running for the server to work.
