Hello everyone, and today, I will be teaching you how to make a sliding door! I will be including pictures with every step, so lets begin! Before I do, The pictures might be a little different, like where they are. (You get the point) And two: This is gonna be done in creative.
Step 1: Grab these 6 materials: pressure plates, sticky pistols, Redstone, pistons, and Redstone torches.

Step 2: Take 3 sticky pistons, and put them on top of eachother, then 5 blocks away, do the same.

Step 3: Dig this:   or dig 2 blocks down all the way in between the two positions, then around those middle 3 blocks on both sides. (Check picture to see) 

Step 4: Dig a block down under the sticky piston on the bottom, then put the block you chose, next to the middle of the piston. Finaly, put redstone on these blocks.

Step 5:Fill in all of the bottom blocks with redstone, and put redstone torches under the blocks you chose. If done correctly, the Redstone should Glow.

Step 6: Put the chosen block in the pistons place, then fill whats right under the pistons in.

Step 7: Put 4 pressure plates in the open blocks.  This is the end, but do the last step to make it look good.

Step 8 (Optional): llap everything around the door, exept where you walk in. Like the pictures:
