Refer to my first blog about this subject :)
This is my second blog about how to make crystals in MineCraft. This one requires a modded client or a server that allows you to use worldedit.
STEP ONE
Get an item out and find the ID or name of the solid colored block you want to make the crystal out of. Then, do //brush sphere [item ID or name] 1. Gather stained glass that matches the crystal. You can also optionally do [item ID or name],glowstone instead of just [item ID or name] to create a glowing crystal.
STEP TWO
Test out your wand to see if you have the right block. If not, do //undo. You might want to see if your glass looks nice with it- if not, you might need a different color of stained glass.
STEP THREE
When you are satisfied with your color, use the brush repeatedly to stack up the block into spires of crystal.
STEP FOUR
Add one block on top of each flat edge to make your crystal pointed.
STEP FIVE
Cover each open face of the blocks with the stained glass.
Cover the whole crystal.
This is probably my favorite style of crystal. I love stained glass. Keep a lookout for the next tutorial, and check out the first!
Diamond if this was interesting and/or helpful, favorite if you want to find it again, and subscribe if you want to.
