Okay, so.
This is my first "advisory" tangent blog, so keep in mind if I make any mistakes! c: Let's delve right in!
So you're new to minecraft, or maybe you've been playing for a while but you're finally ready to start being creative!
How do you start? Well, you'll need to decide what to do. There's plenty of things you can do in minecraft; Builds, texture packs, skins, servers, blogs, mods, models, pixel art, videos.... There's SO much to do!

But what will you choose? Well that's where this blog comes in! I'm going to write up a short paragraph on all of the things you can do to get those creative juices flowing! c:

BUILDS:
Okay, okay. You've got creative mode and you want to make an A-MA-ZING creation! But where do you start?
Well first you want to know what your end product will be, going in without a plan won't do you ANY good. I'd recommend starting off small, with fancy houses and the like. These are quite fun to make and a good one will take at least one hour - so it's a quick, simple build. And if you want you can live in it after, in survival. Now, what materials are you going to use? This depends on the theme. For example you might use wood and cobblestone for a medieval build, but iron and redstone blocks for a futuristic one. Now you've got this up if it's your first time with this style get an example up, either a real life building you're basing it off, a painting, or if you're in multiplayer then maybe another player's build. Now you're set up get building, keep working on it till it's perfect!

VIDEOS:
This seems like the easy option - but it's NOT. Videos need lots of time and effort, especially professional ones. If you want to record from the game I recommend using a good mic (At least as good as an in-built one from my laptop :3 (Samsung notepad)) and a good screen recorder. Bandicam's okay, but it's a bit laggy and renders slow-as-HECK. Also the free version shows the bandicam logo at the top of your videos. Fraps is better but the full version costs money, but I find it's quite smooth and more versatile than bandicam. There are others too, but these are the main ones for beginners. If you want to make it fancy use an editing software, such as movie maker or sony vegas, and make an intro you like. c: Now, just make a youtube account and enjoy! c:

MODS:
This is the one for the more... Trial and error people out there. Modding is hard and the best mods take months, even years, to make, and even yet they still have potential. Minecraft is technically a mod, constantly updating and being made better. Anyways, modding is HARD, trust me. You'll need a good code writer, such as eclipse, the Minecraft Coder Pack and the source code for Minecraft Forge, as well as some bits from the minecraft files. Basic java knowledge is also needed, I recommend checking out thenewboston for coding help, I find his C++ tutorials are quite good as well as his java. You'll need to think of what you're going to make and, unless you're as... Versatile, as some people you'll have to recruit some people to your cause to texture, model and make sounds. With this under your belt find a good tutorial and dive in!

I'll add more to this as I can, I hope you find it helpful, as it's coming from someone with experience in ALL of these fields. c:

That's an awesome skill!
I can picture what I'm basing it off, most of the time, but being able to see it pixel for pixel? Wow :3
