How to use the /say in color

In minecraft, you cant use the /say in color. But you can use the /tellraw command for color. Here are some instructions on how to use this command.

1. Place a command block

2. Open the command block and type: /tellraw @a {"text":"Insert Text Here",color:red} (copy and paste)

3. Edit the command with colors or a different text.

Thats pretty much how you do it

is there a way you can use @p in the text
i tried putting in /tellraw @a [{"text":" @p WON THE MAZE GG!","color":"red"}] but it didnt say my in game name and then won the maze gg it sai @p WON THE MAZE GG! is there a way to fix that

You can also add colors to the name with this:

[{"selector":"@p","color":"dark_aqua","bold":true,"italic":true},{"text":" WON THE MAZE GG!","color":"red","italic":false}]
