It was 10 pm at night but Haddix couldn’t sleep she could swear she heard a sound in the closet. She was 13 by now and knew monsters weren’t real, but it’s just that childhood feeling she had. “No monsters
aren’t real, just go and look in the closet.,” she tried to say to calm herself down. She opens the closet no monsters, but “A door?” Haddix questioned. She walked in and saw something surprising inside. “Ah! Monster!” Haddix exclaimed. “Where?!” the creature said afraid. “You.” Haddix replied
“HOW DARE YOU,” the creature said “YOU SHALL PAY” he continued. "YOU SHALL PAY for our tea!” the creature said.
“Huh? you don’t want to eat me?” Haddix said surprised. “Ofc not! Unless you're really a blue-cotton sheep. I just love blueberries!” the creature said. “OH. By the way what's your name?” Haddix asked.
“Dane. "The creature told her. “I’m Haddix. Well, we should probably go get our tea now!” Haddix told him. “Yes, yes! Dane love tea! Dane just loves mellow-drop tea!” Dane talked in third person. “Oook then” Haddix said under her breath. But when they got to the tea party little did Haddix know what awaited her. When they arrived there was a rabbit, cat, and another person. Haddix looked down only to realize her nightgown was now a fancy gown. “Is this some sort of twisted book?!” Haddix said almost breaking the 4th wall. “I assure you not my dear.” the cat told her. “Your names?” Haddix asked. “I’m chase, the rabbit is broke, and the person is sad lemon.” the cat answered her. “There is weird.” Haddix whispered to Dane. “Actually, I have a crush on chase” Dane whispered back. “What a surprise "she told herself rolling her eyes. The room fell. she could see nothing not even her own hand in front of her own face.
Suddenly it became light then yellow then blue then it was like nothing had changed. She was back at the
tea party. but it was in a castle and there was someone new. “Hello?” Haddix told the new girl. “Oh I
must simply be going look at the clock!” the girl told her. The mysterious girl ran leaving behind only a glass slipper. I must return this Haddix thought. “Broke I like you.” Dane said wondering if this would help him get over chase. “I- I’m anti-romantic sorry.” broke replied. How was he supposed to get over chase now? Dane was gay anyhow. Haddix had left.
Haddix was going to get that shoe back to the girl and possibly her number. "You left this.” Haddix said returning the shoe. “I- Maddie. And thank you.” the girl said. So, her name is Maddie Haddix thought. “May I have your number?” Haddix asked Maddie.
“Oh sure ***-***-****.” Maddie told her. Haddix was surely going to call her later. Maddie was Haddix’s Cinderella. Haddix made her way into the forest. Then she heard it. Someone was close but who? She heard voices say, “Another human?” one unknown said. “Wow did you think I was the only one.” the other said.
” Hello, name is sed older brother of little red riding hood. "An older boy said pulling a human dog out.” Ugh, I’m bbw.” the human dog said annoyed. “You should be careful sed the human dog may hurt you!” Haddix exclaimed. “Human dog?! I’m going to kill you.” bbw said being held back by sed. They were a-lot taller than Haddix. “If you don’t mind, what’s your heights?” Haddix wondered. “I’m 6ft.” sed said proudly. “I’m 2 inches than him.” bbw said rolling his eyes. “I’m 5’8.” Haddix said embarrassed. “If you're looking for grandma’s house just turn left, and you should be there.” sed told her. Haddix went left. A candy made house. “Please eat anything you like!” grandma said a little green. Haddix could clearly see a trail of breadcrumbs no way was she eating anything. “Grandma, grandma!” a little girl said as a little boy handed grandma a muffin basket. “Oh, lovely dears!” grandma told them. “This is Hans and Gemma.” grandma told Haddix. “Well, I must be going now!” Haddix told them. “Be safe dear!” grandma told her. Haddix was ashamed she was really a nice sick lady, but Haddix thought she was a witch. Haddix came upon a cabin “I hope their home. I’m so tired!” Haddix told herself knocking on the door. A lovely maid opened the door. “Please come in! I have been expecting you!” the maid said. That was enough to creep out Haddix. The maid started tying her to the chair. “Hey!” Haddix said. “She fell for it.” the maid said smirking as 3 bears walked out. “Dinner.” the 3 bears said “Oh! I forgot to mention there is 3 human eating bears and a skin-walker in a cabin near grannies!” sed said walking in. “Couldn’t have said it earlier!” Haddix yelled at him. “oh” sed laughed nervously.
Sed un-tied her quickly as the bears and skin-walker were preparing. "where’s bbw?” Haddix asked. “Something about annoying his pig cousins.” sed told her. Then they heard footsteps who could it be? Suddenly a snowman walked out of the bush “I a m a s n o w m a n. m y n a m e I s f a l o.I l I k e w a r m h u g s. w h a t a b o u t y o u?” the snow man said very slowly. “Hi Falo?” they both said. “There are human guys! phew thank goodness it would have taken a long time to learn your language!” Falo told them. then two young boys walked out. “This is James and Charles.” Falo told them. “James is queen Anna’s son and Charles is his best friend he has no parents. "Falo said. “Probably shouldn’t say he has no parents, Falo.” Haddix said. Then a man with a pig mask stepped out he had an axe in hand. “Orphan?!” he said. “Yes!” Falo said. “Names Technoblade and killing orphans is my game.” the guy said. “Ok Charles is an orphan!” Falo said not understanding. “No one can stop me from killing this orphan!” Technoblade declared. then a girl with pink hair followed by two other women saved the child. “No techno!” the pink hair woman said. “But Niki you, puffy, and minx never let me kill orphans anymore.” Technoblade complained. Then a guy with a blue beanie and wing stole the child followed by a guy with a red beanie. “Techno shall kill this child.” The guy with the blue beanie said. “All I know is if I had a choice you’d sleep on the concrete floor.” the guy with the red beanie said. Then a mushroom guy with goggles came followed by a green god blob followed. “Or we can let dweam kill it.” the guy with goggles said. “Or?” a guy with a fire shirt said. “Can we all stop fighting?” a guy with a cool mixed colored hoodie said holding a book in his hand. They all started fighting more about who would kill the child or if the child would live.
Would Charles survive? and if not, who would kill him Everyone was so busy fighting they didn’t notice that the guy with the mixed color hoodie took the child to safety along with Haddix and Sed. “My name is Karl- “he said but got interrupted by Haddix “KARL JACOBS!” she yelled. Karl looks at all three of them they were staring at him in amazement. “I love how you dyed your hair!” Charles told him. suddenly someone walked in and screamed “HI SISTERS!”. “AHHHHHHHHH” Haddix screamed. It was James he had makeup on. “Material girl!” Sed said with a hand flip. Bbw walked in just in time to see it. “Uh.” bbw said not knowing what to say. James had him mom’s makeup kit in hand and went towards bbw . “Yeah no.” bbw said trying to walk out but realized the exit was blocked by sed. James grabbed bbw and smothered makeup on his face. when he was done you could tell bbw was annoyed more than ever. Suddenly sed laughed. Bbw face turned pink probably not from embarrassment his ears went down. Sed stopped and looked at bbw and sat down with him by the door. “What's wrong?” Sed asked worried. “N-nothing” bbw replied. Sed took a makeup wipe and cleaned his face. “Thanks, I guess.” bbw said even more pink. “It’s worse now.” Sed said worried again. Haddix was trying not to laugh at how clueless Sed was. Bbw and Sed stood up. Suddenly the door swung open and knocked sed and bbw to the floor bbw on top of sed face to face. “James why did you take my makeup kit!” Anna asked her son. James and Charles were both looking down at sed and bbw. “Omg I’m so sorry!” Anna told them as they stood up. “It's fine” sed said a pink as bbw. Haddix’s face was blue then she let her laugh out. She couldn’t help it.
Just then the 3 bears and the skin-walker walked in what would happen? Suddenly bbw pined sed to the wall and started making out with him. "I’ll take the skin-walker someone take care of the bears” Anna said toasting the skin-walker with her fire powers. Haddix called Maddie. “I’m on my way.” Maddie told her. “Care for a cup of tea?” Maddie asked the bears when she arrived. “Oh yes!” the bears said following her.
Everyone looked at bbw and sed who was pink as bubblegum. “What the bears wouldn’t have hurt him if I did that!” bbw said trying not to sound guilty. “You could’ve faked it?” Haddix told him. “They wouldn’t believe that.” bbw replied. Then they all teleported to a castle. “Woah, Aroura’s castle!” Haddix said. Everyone looked at bbw and sed. “Hi, I’m a princess with fairies and today’s my birthday!” sed said high-pitched. “I’m going to touch this spinning wheel!” sed said pretending to fall asleep. “Oh no the princess! One last kiss and I’ll be on my way!” bbw said in a deep voice then kissing sed. “I’m awake let's get married!” sed said. Then they both laughed. “Ooo spinning wheel.” sed said as he touched a nettle. But instead of falling asleep… “ Bbw have I ever said how much I love you? Cause like a-lot more than the galaxies.” sed said walking over to bbw. “Uh.” bbw said flustered. “Wow a different potion.” Haddix said.” Kiss him It should help.” Haddix said. Bbw did as told. “Huh?” sed wondered then backed away also flustered. Then they teleported next to a house. “No, she’s my enemy plus it’s forbidden.” someone said. “Dane?” Haddix said looking at him. “who’s the girl?” Haddix asked. “My twin.” Dane told her. “I swear I’ll act like I don’t. By the way I’m Leah.” his twin said. “Who were you two talking about?” Haddix asked. “Savanah. She’s an angel. Quite literally.” Leah said. “Pets.” said Dane to chase petting him. “You're lucky this is the only way to calm you.” chase told him. Haddix took Dane by his wrist and dragged him to a shop followed by the others. "Care for some beans?" the shop owner asked. "Sure?" Haddix said as he handed her the beans. Then he disappeared. She planted them. Dane stood right by it. "Nothing is happening!" Dane complained. Then a beanstalk came out and hit him in the face. "OW!" Dane whined. Suddenly an angel appeared. "Savannah!" Dane said in disgust. "Race you to the top my love!" Savannah said starting to fly to the top. "You b¡tch I can't fly!" Dane yelled. Then they all appeared at the top. When savannah reached them, she was surprised. "Wow guess you win! Winner owes the loser a kiss~" she said with confidence. "Yeah, no F.ck off savannah." Dane told her. "Nah I'm good I want to stick with you!" savannah said cheerfully grabbing Dane's arm. Haddix could tell he didn't like it. "Get your hands off my boyfriend." Haddix said trying to sound serious. "You're dating her?" Savannah said confused. "Uh, yes? "Dane said also confused. "Now shove off Ms.Wannabe perfect." Haddix told savannah as savannah flew away. "You're welcome, Dane. "Haddix told Dane. "Thanks?" Dane said trying to figure out what happened. "Race you to the eggs!" James and Charles told each other. "No stay here!" Haddix yelled at them, but it was too late. "Look we found golden eggs!" James and Charles said to Haddix when they came back after 10 minutes. "And a gigantic golden goose? "Haddix asked "Huh? they responded. Then the Golden goose snacked her eggs back kidnaping the children with them. "Mother goose wait!" Haddix yelled but again it was too late. Then they all appeared at a small cottage all except James and Charles that is But, Chase also appeared there as well. They saw 7 Very tall people well tall to Haddix they were normal Hight to the others. "Get the apples." One of the tall men said, "Ok grumpy. "Another said going into the cottage. Suddenly the door opened, and two 18-year Olds walked out. "Pfft her face!" one said "I'm SnOw WhItE!" the other mocked. " Yeah, right this isn't a fairytale book. Good thing we tied her up." the first said. "Man, we could've played her though!" the second said. "JUSTIN?!" Haddix yelled. "SISTER?!" the second yelled. "who's that?" Haddix asked. "This is my boyfriend, Alec." Justin joked. "It's platonic!" Alec joked more. "You have a boyfriend? Your gay?!" Haddix wanted answers. "No were just friends; and second, yes? You didn't know?" Justin answered her. "Oooo mom is going to kill you!" Haddix told him. "Oooo you're a lesbian mom is going to kill you!" Justin mocked her. "Fair point." Haddix responded. Justin and Alec had two children come out of the cottage. "I found them they apart of your group?" Justin asked Haddix. "James and Charles, you're ok!" Haddix said relived. Then someone jumped out of the bushes... It was Technoblade! Technoblade took the children and said ... "Blood for the blood god! "Then he ran off into the woods. Haddix forced Justin to run after him. But he was too late when he arrived, they were DEAD. When Haddix arrived, she saw it... and started silently crying. Justin could tell she was sad and gave her a hug. ''I was too late... This is all my fault. WHY!" Haddix cried. Haddix hit herself as hard as she could but felt nothing. "What?" she questioned. She couldn't feel pain. NONE OF THEM COULD. Haddix appeared in a dark room alone. All she could hear were them their voices. "You couldn't save us just like you couldn't save your dad weakling." "It's all your fault" "Why do you hate us?" "I thought we were like the little siblings you never had!" 'No, no, no " she told herself. She screamed, but no one could hear her. "Why didn't you save me your own dad! You saw that they had a gun, yet you just watched." 'You hate us all don't you." She was in tears. "Wake up Haddix! Wake up it's all just a dream! There's a note! Please Haddix!" She could hear her brother's voice say. It was hard to make out though. Then she was back in her room. Like in the beginning...She woke up. "What?" Haddix wondered. "We need to leave NOW!" Justin told her. "Don't let mom see the note." he said like it was really important. they packed their bags and they moved. Justin bought Alec a ticket cause how could he leave his best friend?... And his best friend's cat. Finally, it's now been a week since then. Haddix knew Alec and Justin had the same dream. "Who's gonna read it?" Haddix asked. "It was on your dresser." Justin made sure she remembered. "Fine." Haddix said trying to be brave. "If you're reading this you've had the dream. You three weren't the only ones the others did too. Go to Jude's All School. Stay as long as you can. " The note read. "I'll ask mom to sign us up." Justin said. "Are you crazy?! for all we know we could get killed!" Alec stated. 'Well, I'd rather know and die then have it bother me my whole life. "Justin said. Justin asked his mom just like he said he would. Luckly, she agreed. When they all woke up, they went there for their first day. It was easier because some kids just left so there was openings. Haddix looked over at Justin and Alec she could tell they thought they were going to die because they were holding hands and seemed like they have been dating for years. they always acted like that when they were scared. She honestly doesn't know why they aren't together yet. "Be safe." Justin said dropping her off then heading towards his and Alec's class. She took a seat and saw two boys walk in. They seemed flustered at each other. They reminded he of Bbw and sed. But Bbw and sed were just from her dreams, right? One of them sat by her she decided to make friends with them. "Hi, I'm Haddix, and you are?" she asked the boy who reminded her of Sed. "I'm Sed." he told her. "Hm, so his name is sed that's a coincidence." she thought to herself as he thought the same about her. Then a dazzling girl sat Infront of her she knew her name was Maddie because it said it on her jacket sleeve. She really wished her friends in her dream were real. At the end of lunch was lunch. She sat at a table by herself but, two boys randomly joined her. " Hi, Haddix! I'm Dane and this is my boyfriend, Chase! " One of them told her. "We're not dating Dane!" Chase told Dane. "Yet." Dane said looking happy."How do you know my name?! Are you the one who sent the letter?!" Haddix asked Dane. "What, no I just bothered sed till he told me. You also got the letter?" Dane replied. "Did you also get the dream?" Haddix asked him. "If you mean the fairytale dream yes, my whole friend group got it. Because of it bbw and sed keep ignoring each other. Why do you ask?" Dane told her. " MY brother and his best friend also had the dream glad we weren't the only ones." Haddix answered him. " Just a guess is your friend group you, Chase, Sed ,Bbw , Maddie, Leah, Broke, and Sad lemon? And you hate Savannah?" Haddix asked. "Yeah. " Dane answered. " School is now over due to some reasons. The buses are already here so you can leave." The school speakers told the students. " Wanna come over? I can also ask the others." Dane told Haddix. "Sure. I'm sure my brother won't notice I'm gone." Haddix told him. She rode on the bus so she could get there. Meanwhile her brother was freaked out at the school thinking she was dead. "I'm sure she just went to a friend's house." Alec said trying to calm him down. "Yeah, a friend when she just came to this school." Justin said definitely not calm. "Look why would she die? We're still alive right? " Alec told him. " Because Alec! she got the note not us. She would be the first dead. Just go back to our house and make sure my mom is ok. I don't need you right now. " Justin told Alec handing him the keys to his car. "Guys this is Haddix, Haddix this is my friends. " Dane told them. " Hi." Haddix told all his friends except sed and bbw because they didn't come. "You're really pretty." Maddie told Haddix. It made Haddix blush. when Haddix got home she noticed Justin wasn't there and Alec looked a mix of mad and sad. " Where we're you?" Alec asked her. " At a friend's house I took a bus back home. " Haddix told him. Just then Justin walked in. " Haddix there you are!" Justin said hugging her. "Yeah, I just went to a friends." she told him. Justin looked over at Alec he could also tell he was upset. "Alec-" Justin started to say but was interrupted by Alec slamming the door. A week later Alec ignored him at school the next day too he even took the bus to stay away from him. But a week wasn't the only thing that had past the prom had also passed and Haddix hated the prom. When she got to class the next day and sat down Bbw and Sed walked in at the same time from different entrees. They saw each other and immediately left. Haddix put her earbuds in and listened to Dandelions by Ruth B and other songs. An hour had passed, and the teacher still wasn’t there. But a door. “Not this again. Never again.” she told herself. She walked out and saw Bbw and Sed just looking at each other awkwardly. “For queen's dress kiss already!” she said pushing them closer to each other and then walking away. Water fountain started playing as she appeared by one and Maddie came. “Haddix! Um. I like you no I love you.” Maddie told her. Then she saw Maddie kissing her brother (Haddix’s brother). “STUPID MEMORIES!” Haddix yelled. “Why did I have to love you.” Haddix said crying. Then she was being Shaken. "Haddix wake up!" she could hear Dane's voice say. "What happened?" she asked. "You Fell asleep by the water fountain." Dane told her. When she got home, she saw Justin with a shocked face by their mom. "What happened?" she asked. " Honey I'm 8 months pregnant with a girl. " Her mom told her. She now had the same face as her brother.It has been a year since then. Unfortunately, Alec was still ignoring Justin. Fortunately, middle school was going smoothly. I was walking with Dane and Sed and we ran into a girl and her brother. The girl pushed me to the ground. "Watch where you're going loser. " The girl said. The boy just looked at Dane looking memorized. "Milo! Don't look at him!" She said pulling him by his wrist and leaving. So his name was Milo huh? Dane looked at Milo as he was being pulled away. He looked memorized. Was it a spell? No magic wasn't real. "What's wrong?" I asked. "Oh um .. nothing," Dane said. I'm assuming magic. Chase walked over to Dane. "Have you guys seen Bbw and Sed?" Chase asked. "Actually no I haven't. " I said. "Huh weird," Chase said. "Dane?" I asked. "Huh, what? Oh yeah, .. weird..." Dane said. Suspicious. I thought to myself. Dane also wasn't being clingy to Chase like usual... I was gonna get to the end of this case. But first Sed and Bbw. I walked through the halls. No sign of them. There was only one place I hadn't checked. The haunted hall. No one dared goes. Maybe they're there? Haddix headed towards the haunted halls. Surely enough, she saw Sed and Bbw. Hey, why are u guys here? "I thought I heard something.." said Sed. "Oh, makes sense." She answered. "Happy birthday!" Savannah said to Sed appearing out of nowhere. "Thanks?" Sed thanked her. "Since our seventeen. I and the big guy decided to bring her back." Savannah said cheerfully. Sed fell to his knees. "Who's her?" Haddix asked. "WTH SAVANNAH! " Bbw said yelling at Savannah. "What? It's a nice gift!" She argued. "IT'S NOT NICE TO JOKE ABT PEOPLE'S DEAD SIBLINGS!" Bbw yelled again at Savannah. "Jeez, whatever losers," Savannah said walking away. "Red?... " Sed cried. "No, she's just a jerk. Sorry, Sed.." Bbw said helping Sed up. He held Sed close. "I thought she went to Broadway? " Haddix said. "In the sky.." Bbw said quietly. "Oh.." Haddix said. I clenched my fists. "Haddix, are you okay?" Bbw said. "I have business to attend to," I answered walking towards Savannah. "HEY SAVANNAH!" I yelled towards her. "Huh?" Savannah said stopping and turning towards me. I punched her in the mouth. His lip started bleeding. "What the hell?!" She said. She went to slap me. I grabbed her wrist. "Apologize to him, now," I said twisting. "Ow! Fine just stop jerk!" She said a tear rolling down her cheek. "I'm sorry Sed." She said rolling her eyes. "It's fine.." Sed told her. I was furious. "Now say it like you mean it," I said clenching her shoulder. "OKAY! I'm sorry!" She said. I let go. The bell rang. Savannah ran away. "Well well well.." Mika said slowly clapping while walking over to me. "What?" I asked. "Looks like the princess is feisty." She said. I started to walk away. She pulled me back. She held me by my waist. "Don't ignore me." She barked. "Uh, is this fighting? Or is it some type of flirting? " Bbw said. I got my arm out of her grasp. I started to walk away. Mika followed me. "Stop following me, "I told her. "I'm not. I'm trying to find Milo." She argued for her case. "Your brother?" I asked. "That imbecile doesn't deserve to be called my brother." She said. We turned a corner. I stopped us in our tracks. "What are yo-" she started. I covered her mouth. I pointed at her brother, Dane, and Chase. We watched them. Milo was watching Dane and Chase kiss. I knew Dane and Chase had been dating for a year now... It's been a year since the incident... I zoned back in. Dane noticed Milo. He stood up. He took hold of Milo's wrist. "Why were you watching us?" Dane said calm. "Uh... I.." Milo stuttered. "I see what's going on here," Dane said. "You do?!"Milo said worried. "He does," Chase said. Why were Dane and Chase so calm about this?! If it was me I would be weirded out! Dane let go of his wrist. He put his hands on Milo's waist. Milo just looked shocked. Dane kissed Milo. Milo kissed him back. CHASE DID NOTHING! HIS BOYFRIEND WAS CHEATING RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM AND HE DID NOTHING?! Just as I was about to interrupt to find out what was happening, Mika pulled me back. "Let me go you jerk!' I yelled. She covered my mouth. Milo and Dane stopped. Milo seemed out of breath. "Haddix, what are you doing?" Dane asked clearly knowing I was there. Mika pushed me out to them. 'Well uh, Mika is also here!" I scoffed. "Sister?" Milo questioned. Mika walked out. "Don't call me that mistake." Mika yelped at him. Dane hid Milo behind him. "What do you want b-" Dane started to say. "Calm down Dane." Chase interrupted. Dane seemed annoyed that he was told to do that but did as told. After school, Justin got the keys to his car and we were about to go home. As he was starting up his engine we saw Alec getting on the bus. I could tell Justin looked sad. When we got home Alec was in his room. Justin headed that way. Just before Alec slammed the door on him; Justin caught the door. Crushing his hand. He ignored it though. I watched through the door crack. He sat next to Alec on his bed. Justin grabbed Alec's hand and held it. Justin kissed Alec. After a few minutes, Justin stopped. "I'm sorry...for everything. I didn't mean it I'll always ne-" Justin began to apologize. Alec kissed Justin. I stopped watching because I felt something I didn't wanna see would happen. I went to visit my baby sister, Roxy. Who was born after the accident last year...After about 3 minutes Justin came in. "Mom says dinner is ready." Justin informed me. "I'll be there soon" I replied. Justin told Mom my response and left. I sat at the table. Muffin, Alec's cat jumped up into Alec's lap. Muffin seemed to give Justin a death stare. Justin stuck his tongue out at the cat. " Are you bulling my cat?" Alec asked ready to slap Justin. " He started it." Justin argued. "It's okay baby, Justin is just a jerk." Alec said petting Muffin. Justin stood up and walked over to Alec. He kissed him. "Ew, gross! Mom make them stop!" I complained. Muffin jumped into my lap. "When you're older you'll probably kiss people too Haddix. Be more mature about it." Mom told me. Justin sat back down in his seat. The next day I arrived at school and sure enough Mika was scolding her brother while yelling at him. "You think you can just go around kissing people who I don't like?!"Mika yelled at him. She slapped him across the face and it left a mark. Milo walked away. " FINE WALK AWAY COWARD I DON'T WANNA BE SEEN WITH YOU!' she yelled after him. I had a feeling I knew where Milo was going. I went to the last place I saw Dane; sure enough, Milo
was there too. I hid by a wall a watched. "How did this happen?" Dane asked Milo. "I just bumped into something that's all..."Milo lied. "Why are you lying to us?" Chase asked. "I'm telling the truth..." Milo lied once again. "Fine, but if I find out something different happened I'm gonna be mad." Dane sighed." You won't find out different because it's true!" Milo defended. Dane started to hold Milo's face in his hand. "Are you sure?~" Dane flirtingly asked. Milo's face turned pink. Dane let go. "I'm just joking! Your face though!" Dane laughed. Milo softly slapped Dane's face. "Jerk," Milo proclaimed. Chase walked up to them and sat on the floor by them. "No, more like this," Chase said, proceeding to slap Dane hardly. Moon and Julie said in unison. Haddix suddenly felt all better. Like it had never happened? Suddenly the girls disappeared. Confused, Haddix continued her path. When she finally caught up. She grasped the girl's red coat sleeve. "Hey!" the girl yelled. The girl stopped running and turned to face Haddix. Sed turned the corner. "Hey, Haddix.
