Note: I am usually in the skins section looking at and downloading people's skins. I make my own skins and have written a blog post or two, but this is my first interview.

S K I N  M A K I N G

1) How long have you been making skins for?
"I've been making skins for quite a while now, but  there's still a tonne of room to improve. I first started making skins in around January or something like that, and back then I was really bad at shading, but I have definitely got better at it! I used to use subtle, light shading which didn't look all that shaded at all o_o but now it's a bit harsher and much more visible."

2) What program do you use to make skins?
"I usually use MCSkin3D and Paint.net to make my skins. I use MCSkin3D to shade the skin usually, and to create the clothing, but on Paint.net I copy and paste textures from the skin sometimes and rarely (but sometimes!) use it to make coloured shading on the hair. I haven't posted any skins with coloured shading yet, but I currently have one in progress!"

3) What do you find good in a skin?
"In a good skin, I like to see:
~Shading, not too light, not too dark. Not too harsh, not too subtle.
~Interesting ideas. I struggle with this myself, but it's nice to see skins with an original idea/design included on them.
~Colours which match eachother, contrast a little and don't blend together too much.
~No block colour, pretty much!"

4) Is there anything you see a lot but don't particularly like?
"I see a lot of the eyes which try to look anime. For example:

B = Blue
W = White

Bad: B W
        W B

Good: W B
           W B"

5) What is your favourite style of skin?
"My favourite style of skin is a gothic, pastel look. I.e pastel goth! It looks really dark and mysterious yet it also has that splash of colour. It's my favourite style in real life, too! Simple as that."

6) Is there anyone who inspired you to make skins?
"The main person who inspired me to make skins is sugarbun. She inspired me to make skins so much! I remember scrolling through her page of skins and I thought 'Wow, I wish I could make stuff like that.'. So, I looked at her skins and tried to use this as a guide to shading my skins and stuff. She's a great person; she's really kind. Love her skins, and her style."

A B O U T  B I N K I E 

1) What are your favourite colours?
"My favourite colours are black, cyan and lilac. :3"

2) What is your favourite animal?
"My favourite animal? Oh gosh I genuinely can't choose! I love pretty much every animal really. I even feel sad when a moth flies into my room and I ask my brother to get it out as I can't reach it, and then he grabs it and flushes it down the loo ;_; "

3) Do you currently own any pets?
"I do have pets, yes. I have two pets: Spinach and Parsley. They're both Campbell's Russian Dwarf hamsters and I love them to bits, even though I've only had them for a few days! I bought them and it was love at first sight x3 The scruffy brown one is called Parsley, and the pure white one is called Spinach. I love demmm!!"

4) If you could have any superpower, what would it be, and why?
"If I could have any superpower, I would have the superpower to activate all superpowers. Heh. ^~^"

5) Do you like reading? What are your favourite books/series?
" I LOVE READING. I don't really have a favourite book series as there's a whole lot of them I love, but here are a few of my favourites:
~The Hunger Games
~Divergent
~Malory Towers
~Harry Potter
~Every Cathy Cassidy book in existance
~Manga :3"

6) What games do you play?
"A lot.
~Minecraft
~Portal
~Terraria
~Sims (lol)
~Zelda Games
~Pokémon games
~Mario games
(Yeah... I could go on for hours.)"

7) What music do you listen to?
"I listen to a random mixture of music. I just like all music in general, but a few people in particular include Little Mix, the best girl band ever to exist! I love their music as the messages inside their songs aren't always about romance and stuff like that. I also love Big Bang, a K-Pop band. They're amazing, especially G-Dragon <3 Their music has so many different styles and it's just great! I listen to K-Pop all the time, and I also like Japanese vocaloids including Hatsune Miku, Rin & Len, Gumi... etc. I love most music but I'm not much of a fan of rap. Just my opinion thoughhhh ^_^"
