What inspired you to join the pmc community?
i always loved the creative aspect of minecraft, i would make skins for my brother and i would change my skin almost every day.
i had a friend who made skins too, and i really liked them. i thought that perhaps people would like my skins too- so i was talking to my friend about it and she told me about PMC. i looked at the different accounts and immediately aspired to be them, so soon enough i made an account and spent ages on skins that i thought were amazing at the time- but now, looking back at them, i realise theyre terrible lmao :)
What do you like about making skins, what caught your interest?
i love being able to express myself, it brings me closer to people i meet online. i love being inspired by peoples creations and incorporating them into my own skins, and the feeling when someone appreciates how much effort you put into it, always really encouraged me to carry on doing it, especially when i felt like everything i created was unnoticed.
How long have you been making skins?
for just about 4 years, i joined pmc about 2 years ago though :)
What goes through your mind as you post your skins?
i just wonder what people will think of the skin. i mostly rush the description because i want to know what people think of it really quickly. i probably depend on others opinions too much.
Are you familiar with Weird Science (I just had to ask)?
i am not! I'm sorry ;(
Do you think you'll ever stop?
i probably will stop making skins in the not so near future, i think that because currently i have phases of getting bored of skinning, perhaps one day ill grow out of it completely. Also i can't imagine me as a 30 year old woman sitting at my computer just making a skin, but who knows?
How do you feel when you realise how far you've come and that there are people out there using your skins?
the thought of it is just so amazing, it feels so great to be appreciated by even a couple of people, but just over 800 subscribers? thats insane. i remember just starting out on here, making poorly shaded skins, receiving only a couple of diamonds- but back then, to me that was so cool!
What do you hope for the future, what do you want skins to include?
i want to capture my own style of skinning, and for it to inspire people. i aspire to be like people such as icarianprince or beverly - because their styles are very independent and original, and i love that about a person.
Do you think making skins is an art?
yes! i do think that. Art is all about creativity and expressing yourself; i feel that i use both these elements to create skins. also, they take time to create and a lot of thought and effort goes towards making them.
What is your favorite animal, why?
i don't really have one. it has transitioned many times, for example my first username on here was 'BearsWillBeBears', because obviously at that time i loved bears a lot but then 'FeatherOwl' because owls are so adorable and i just had a lot of love for them and in-between these usernames i had gone form loving fennec foxes to the canadian lynx. However, if i had to choose just one animal, it would be a cat because i have two and i love the special bond you can have with them.
Which is your favorite of the four elements, why?
