1.Why did you you get minecraft?
By accident, I was shown a few videos of the game back during beta and though it was an interesting concept. So I bought it, been hooked ever since.
2.What is your favourate mob?
Depends on my needs, I couldn't think of any 1 specific mob. If I had to pick at this very moment, it would be a chicken. Because I have plans to build a huge fully automated breeding/cooking chicken coupe. ;)
3.Do you like to customise your minecraft with mods/ texture packs?
Nope, I plan vanilla.. and before the SixtyGig texture pack, I didn't use those either. I've always been a default fanboy for years because I liked knowing my builds would not only look ascetically pleasing to me, but to everyone else as well. That's probably one of the reasons SixtyGig is so popular. It's different, but at the same time, it's not.
4.Why did you choose your Minecraft name?
Rayvolution has been my username for over 10 years, I picked it alongside a domain name I bought (and still own) rayvolution.net
5.What is your favourate biome?
Usually grasslands, because I like to make huge grand builds and typically gravitate to building towers and castles. Need a lot of flat land for that. ;)
6.Do you play multiplayer or singleplayer?
Multiplayer, I actually own and run a very successful private server also called SixtyGig at sixtygig.com. It's over 3 years old and designed for adult minecraft players to have a safe home away from the griefing. I've never played on any other server, not much of a point when you own your own. :)
7.Do you like ocelots or wolves?
Wolves! I may own 2 cats in real life, but Ocelots are damned annoying in game.
8.What do you like to do in-game? e.g. Redstone, archtitecture, mining or hunting?
Architecture. I'm really good with redstone, but when the day is over I like to have a really nice build to look at. I tend to build huge overly complicated things. For example, my current project is hollowing out an entire set of mountains in a extreme hills biome to eventually make a "LOTR" style Dwarven city. Although as of late my main focus has been on the texture pack.
9.What is the first thing you do when you see a creeper?
(After being blown up) "What kind of evolution would make a creature a suicide bomber? That's not a very effective way to survive!"!
10.What is your favourate hostile (if your favourate mob is a peaceful mob) or Peaceful mob (if your favourate mob is hostile)?
Slimes, they're fun to smash into bits.. and I always need more stickypistons! I use sticky pistons everywhere!
