Imma start by saying I haven't been on here in tiime, a very long time. (This is not my account but it was given to me, back when I first came on here I didn't have an account) So I decided to take a look at the website, to you know, see how things are still going. The first thing that struck me is that the forums are nowhere near as active as they used to be, and I'm not trying to be one of them people jumping on the bandwagon that this website is dead but that was something that stood out to me. Back 2 or 4 years ago, the forums would've actually felt like a place to discuss things, however now it just feels as though it's a place to spam and advertise. Hubs are kind of dying, the only noticeable one I see that's still living is the anime hub,( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°), and that's about it. Obviously it would've died down since you can't bring up the same topics, over and over, but that's just something I've noticed in this time. I don't think this website is dead, because it's not, just that's it's not as... vibrant as it used to be if you get what I mean.
The blogs is kinda weird, only a few minutes I saw a blog on the pop reel with only 1 diamonds. Again, it's difficult to come up with new topics, the websites been around for a long time. Maybe the popular reel system needs to be fixed.
Apart from that, there's not really much I can say. A lot of the older members have left, but there's still some faces around. The reason this website has lived for so long is because of its community, I don't think this website could survive on its own without the forums, because that's such a large majority of the players. But that's just my opinion- thanks for reading.

Then again, I too have just come back from a long absence (I once had an older account, which is now sadly lost). So I can't really say my words are true to the bone. But hey, the fewer 10-year-olds the better.
- Total amount of people registered : 2,095,544
- Total amount of people in chat : 3 at times, 20 maximum,
- 20 people in chat, 10 unactive.
However, it really has declined in the way of good blogs (like this one). If you look at a lot of the most popular articles they were all published quite some time ago. The other parts of PMC I would say are still pretty strong, even if they aren't what they used to be. I used to often play a game on the iPod called Eden World Builder (basically a quirky MCPE), which used to be almost as popular as Pocket Edition and its community IS dead (just find its Wiki and you'll see how).
Of course that's just my opinion, but it's one of the main reasons I became increasingly inactive here on the site.
While I'm not one to be all "IT'S DYING!!!" it seems like the community has become worse. I feel like the mythical Forum Update could help greatly with that but who knows how long that'll take to get here. For now, though, we can only wait c:
Its seasonal/annual downtime at this point in the year. Its like when European players say my server is dead, but thats only because they're the very few people who can withstand the horrendous ping they get when connecting to my server at 3 in the morning (US Central Time).
What we're experiencing is somewhat similar.
