If you are using a host and it still uses your regular ip change hosts. The tutorial is not for you.
Hey guys so today i'm going to show you how to make a custom Minecraft server IP. You can do this for free by going to this site.
No IP <----- Click to goto Noip.com
Step 1.
Goto the site and click sign up.
Step 2.
After you signed up if it doesn't send you to your pag click on your email to open the dropdown bar.
Step 3.
Click on manage hosts.
Step 4.
Click add Host
Step 5.
Enter the host name (Ex. BobsServer) then use the No-Ip free domains. (I recommend zapto.org)
Step 6.
Keep everything else the same if it doesn't have your static IP then look at my othere blog on hwo to find your routers ip. (comming soon)
Step 7.
Click Update Hosts towards the bottom of the page.
Step 8.
Download and install the Program.
Step 9.
Open program and login. Click on edit hosts and choose the host you want (you made previously)
Step 10. click Refresh now if it didn't automaticly do it.
Step 11.
Run your server
Step 12.
Open Minecraft and use the custom ip you just made.
Step 13.
Enjoy your custom IP.
-NOTE
I do not own the site.
You may have to leave the No-Ip program open if you want to you can try to experiment with it so you can have it closed and still have the custom ip.
