Yes I'm aware that there are several of these. However this is my first blog, so why not start out with the beginning? I hope this helps you guys in the long run, lets get to it!

When you first spawn in Minecraft look around to see where you are. This will help in finding materials such as wood, cobble, et cetera. If you notice that its dark or your bubbles are showing, hit that spacebar and get out of the water. Hesitation can mean death, espcially if you spawn in deep water. If you spawn on an island you should create a coat and look around for the main land. If the island has no trees and there are no other island in sight, its usually just best to exit and make a new world.

The next thing you need to do is to get some wood. Usually you'll spawn around some trees, so go right ahead and punch the life out of those trees. You only need five peices of wood to make a crafting table along with all the basic tools but the hoe. You'll still have three wooden planks and a stick left.

After you've got your basic tools, a crafting tables and the leftovers, you'll need to look around for food. There will usually be a few animals around. Remember, don't eat the food raw!

So now you need a furnace and coal to cook that food! Find the nearest cave and mine any coal near the entrance. Its not smart to go deep in right when you start. If you can't find any coal, mine some more wood and coo ksome charcoal. Don't forget you need the furnace first, so be quick and mine eight peices of stone!

Now you need a shelter. Its usually best the dig into the ground or make a "hobbit hole," both of which will be just fine for the first night. Make sure to move your crafting table and furnace inside, and I suggest to craft at least four torches if its dark.

Now if you still have time, head out and try to find some sheep. You only need to get three wool, so you only need to kill three sheep. If you still have that three wood from eariler, you can use that or you can go and mine some more wood. By the time you've got all that, the sun will probably be setting or close to it depending on how resoureful your spawn area is. Head home and block the entrance, set up a few torches and place down your new bed. Sleep as soon as you can to avoid not being able to because of monsters that have spawned nearby.

Congratulations! You've just survived your first night in Minecraft! I'll also be doing more tutorials like this, so subscribe for more and slap that like button if you enjoyed. ;)

No way, everyone knows that mobs have a dinosaur mentality. If you just stand still, they won't see you. Works everytime. And stay in the water too, if you spawn in it. The pain builds character, because pain is just weakness leaving the body. Also don't put down torches when you sleep. It'll spawn friendly mobs, so you know what that means... Slumber party! You'll survive every time. 10/10 would live.

With the more recent updates their AI was improved. They are much smarter and its still safer to find shelter. I will test you suggestions!
